Pick-up was slow, accommodating customer concerns lacked understanding & attention to developing issue. Parking lot is overpacked making it hard to navigate, easy to damage your rental leaving the lot.

Nice new car. very smooth pickup process. I struggled finding the key lockbox after returning the car at FRA Terminal 2 past midnight. This should be better marked. But altogether an excellent price/quality ratio.

We booked a compact car which were told from the website that was available. When we got to the pick up location we were told that the only vehicle they had was a small moving van with a large enterprise logo on either side of the vehicle. Since they had nothing else to offer we didn’t have a choice but take it since we were in a different country without transportation. While I didn’t mind taking the van I wasn’t enthusiastic about paying 250 euros for a moving van when we requested and were told we would get a small compact car.
Everything was good with the car. We had extra charges that were billed after we returned the car. They called our pre paid rental through kayak (pre paid token) apparently it was not including other fees. So be vary when it is advertised total price.

I booked a compact car back in January 2023. It turned out it was an electric vehicle (which I've never used/driven this type before), so I called to get a car which operated on gas. They charged me extra for the gas vehicle. Upon receipt of my confirmation, I noticed that they didn't give me an automatic which I had orginally booked, so I had to call back to change the reservation. Again it was extra money. When planning my trip, I discovered that I didn't need the car as many days I had originally planned. The contract said I couldn't turn it in early nor cancel the reservation. This mind you, was back in February. In late August when I had to pick up the car at the airport, it took me 1/2 hour to locate it. Towards the end of my rental, I discovered damage to a back tire while parked at my hotel. The road service assistant who was sent out to assess the damage told me that it made the car not driveable. When trying to get further assistance, I tried making several phone calls to SIXT customer service, but they either dropped or no one would pick up. Furthermore, I tried calling the number for roadside breakdowns and I received a message that they were closed. Just frustrating - I would think twice before renting from SIXT again..

The car was already ready when we got there and the person helping us was very nice and polite and knowledgeable. Easily the best rental car experience we have had!
We reserved a midsize SUV for 4 adults and 4 large pieces of luggage. When we arrived, they claimed to have no vehicles at all available, and then “found” a huge 9-seater van. Needless to say, it is not enjoyable to drive such a vehicle around old European towns. The drop-off was equally annoying. The central Prague location has no parking lot or garage, so we were told to find our own parking nearby, go back to get the attendant, and then walk her back to the car. Overall a bad experience that we won’t be repeating.

Europcar declined to provide me with a rental car, citing the reason that my driving license was deemed invalid. However, it is important to note that my driving license is recognized as valid within the European Union. Interestingly, Hertz, another car rental company situated nearby, was able to rent me a car without encountering any issues related to my driving license.

Rented a large class vehicle online but was provided a small vehicle as “the only option”. The rental was made for 2 days but was charged for 3 days. The rental was returned 50 minutes after the designated drop off time. Contract was provided in German with no English option.

We were expecting to pay about 300 EUR for the week. When we picked up the car in downtown Munich, we were told that there would be a 300+ EUR charge for taking the car across the border into Austria, and our card was charged for over 600 EUR. We were incensed and the woman at the counter was very unpleasant -- she said that was just was Europcar charged. Given that is was a Sunday morning and we were not at an airport with other options, we still took the car. Upon returning the car, our invoice shows a final payment of about 300 EUR we were originally expecting to pay (which includes a 30 EUR fee for crossing the border) and the 600+ EUR has been returned to our card. We don't know if this was a miscommunication their part, a misunderstanding on our part or what, but we were SO MAD to pay what we thought was an extravagant hidden fee for crossing the border that it tinged the trip for us. The unpleasant woman at the counter in Munich did not do Europcar any favors, nor did she explain what was going on.

I was really, really over-charged! For one and a half day, I ended up paying over 400 dollars, just because I dropped off the car in Frankfurt International, instead of Lautzenhausen, Frankfort local airport. The clerk didn’t tell me that there was going to be a charge for switching the drop off location. So, I was over charged more than 300 dollars! I will not ever rent a car from euro car.
The car was ok but we have encountered hidden prices than shown on your web site. Not happy with this purchase.

The pick-up time was able to be set for 1pm despite the car rental agency being closed from 12-2pm and we could only collect our car after 2pm. We had selected a pick-up time of 1pm because the car rental agency was supposed to be opened from 8am-2pm only. Other than that, the process was smooth.

Everything was fast, there were soma financial details to clarify, but the manger was flexible and patient to explain everything.
We booked 11 months prior to pickup date. We needed a van sized vehicle for 4 adults and 2 children which we were able to book at a very good price. About 4 weeks prior to pickup, I tried to find an email address for the rental car shop to ask for childrens seats as well as to confirm that our vehicle was in fact the van size. I could not locate an email address whatsoever. So I decided to call the shop instead. After a while of trying to locate the correct number and make sure I timed the phone call correctly due to time zone difference, not one person could assist me. I phoned during their staffed hours on a Sunday and was told to call back during the week when there’s more staff to assist. So I called on the Monday, multiple times until I finally got through to a very very rude woman explaining to me that she was too busy to help with my enquiry and only answered my call because she saw my number come up multiple times and thought it was an emergency. She said my enquiry wasn’t an emergency and that I needed to call closer to my arrival date. So I did that. Called a week prior to arrival and once again very rude and they couldn’t guarantee that I would have the vehicle that I booked. What on earth?! How can you not guarantee that you’ll receive a product/service that you’ve received confirmation for. How are we supposed to travel 24hrs across the world, to arrive at the car rental with 2 small kids and not be guaranteed that they’ll have a car large enough for you. Absolutely ridiculous. I asked them what I should do as I couldn’t have that risk upon arrival. She stated I should make another booking with another company and then cancel their reservation on the day if they didn’t have the car. Umm no. I had to make another reservation with another agency at a higher price. Very unprofessional. Imagine booking a hotel room and receiving confirmation then a week out you call to confirm your room type and they say it’s not guaranteed they’ll have a room when you come to check in. Just wouldn’t happen.

Bad experience no cars available and refynd for money they are a steal company
We reserved premium SUV such as Audi Q3 or similar, they gave us a station car that we never wanted and they said it’s because we rented it with a broker. Also we paid 300 USD for the car, they charged us 300 more for the insurance. We could have rented a luxury car with that price. We will never use kayak or europecar
They have nice and kindness customers service. Overall very good car nice and most comfortable 😀

The oil light came on right after I picked up the car. The oil was so low that it only touched the bottom of the stick. The drop off address no longer exists, so I had to find another address. The other address didn’t have the same hours, so they were closed when I got there. There was no box for me to leave the key in. Luckily, an employee of another business in the same building opened the door, and took the key for me.
