Those who are planning to make the journey to Europe from Toronto, will typically not need to secure a visa for the trip so long as the destination country is in the Schengen area or, in the case of Great Britain, where Canada is a commonwealth. The stay in Schengen countries cannot exceed 90 days without a visa. However, all passengers must be in possession of a passport that is valid for more than three months beyond the travel dates.
