The pick up experience was very frustrating. There was no one at the counter at our terminal because they were “out to lunch” and no one from a partner agency could help us. The sign told us to go to another terminal’s rental car counter. We had 2 sets of golf clubs and 2 suitcases we had to shlep to another terminal. The line there was long with only 1 employee who was nice but definitely in no rush. The first car we selected needed air in the tires. The attendant said we could stop at a Wawa and put air in! When we pushed back, he told us to choose a different car. All in it took almost 2 hours to get into a rental car. Very frustrating start to our vacation!

No one was at the Payless booth at pickup. I had to go to the other side of the airport with my bags to pick up the vehicle. When driving out, I had to wait extra time because the car was being scanned as the wrong vehicle even though it matched my paperwork. At drop off, No one was at the Payless counter, so Avis helped. I was charged a whole extra day for being 45 minutes late from my drop off hour. Other rental places give a 1 to 2 hour grace period before adding an additional day. I liked that we could rent a car seat and pick out which one we wanted, the price we paid for one week, we could have purchased a brand new car seat. We were ripped off and taken advantage of. Not cool Payless.

Arrived to find out the employees left/closed the service counter at airport before scheduled. Ended up having to pay twice the amount at the rental car agency next to them.

I understand that the workers are stretched thin now a days,this plandemic is a bit much and very taxing. I was treated well by the front line staff doing the best they can under the circumstances. The hotel front desk person said "customers have to request the room to be cleaned or if any thing would be needed-other than that the rooms get cleaned every three days?

We had an airline change that put us at our destination later than planned and made me worry about a late pick-up. I called the Payless desk directly and the took care of me with no problem. The customer service was great!
