It was a cheap rental. The car was a few years old with a good amount of miles. The shuttle van driver thought he was racing in the Daytona 500. The warehouse they operate out of looks like a chop shop with crunched up cars out front and tons of car parts inside in the corner. The staff seemed tired of working and weren’t very personable. But, I got a car rental for cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.
They presented me a paper with their stipulations at the time of pick up, which included unlimited miles but can't take the car out of the state. I had never heard of this and every car rental place I went to after said that is against the law. I should have been told this when I reserved the vehicle. Will never use this company again.
Waiting for pick up at the airport can take a long time - you just have to wait for the shuttle to come. The car itself was immaculate and the check-in process was easy once you get there. On our way to drop off the car, a rock hit the windshield and cracked it, something that was completely beyond our control. The employees were confusing and unhelpful when it came to the process of how to submit a claim, etc. It was pretty stressful and they were not empathetic at all. That is the main reason for my mediocre rating.
They advertise 1 rate but has other fees hidden.
The car was incredibly dirty (stains everywhere). It was a non-smoking car but had smoke smell in it. Pick up and drop off went very smoothly though.
