I will never book with cheap rental companies through Kayak.com. First of all they charge you money through Kayak and when you go to the company to get the car they charge you for everything that did cover and was not explicit enough on Kayak.com They charge you extra for: 1. The sensor used for toll fees per day ($13/day) 2. Car insurances way to expensive compare to others leading companies. Completely a rip off. Do not recommended.

I had a great experience renting a car from Rent-A-Wreck. Elliot was very professional, made the entire process quick and easy, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Highly recommend!

I arrived at Toronto Airport, alone with my three kids from out of province. Going to visit my sick father. Called to pick up my rental vehicle to find out it was given away because “they only hold it for an hour”. No where on the booking does it include this information. I already PRE-PAID for the entire weekend rental. It should have been there, and of course it was Thanksgiving day weekend and there wasn’t a single other vehicle available for rent.

Literally the WORST rental car experience ever, and I travel for work often. I had to wait over 20 min for the shuttle to pick me up from the airport. Then the pickup process was a disaster. I was there over an hour waiting to get a car. Everyone I asked kept saying some other guy would be there “soon” with the car. Then after expressing extreme frustration this guy says “ok I just have to clean the car and then I’ll bring it to you” - WHAT???!!! Why don’t you have clean cars on hand people ??? I begged the guy to give me the car, clean or not so I could get on with my day that was half over due to this horrible experience. Beyond dissatisfied.
