The car I got was a damaged front bumper with ugly repaint, over 60,000 mileages car with dirty stained uncleared interior, East European time setting, almost wore out tires. I was charged doubled insurance as $38 per day while the cost for rental is $25. Their document for rental is under Allied car rental while Economy rent a car was my booking company. They don’t even bother to notice you of the change. I was also charged $500 deposit. So when I returned the car I was very cautious to wait for their documents confirming the deposit returning since you can see so many bad reviews with this company. I was waiting for over 25 minutes and I noticed that there was no customers seems happy. Obviously I was not the only one being screwed. I wonder how these kind of company could be survived in USA. The way they treat customers is like a company in developing countries. Kayak shouldn’t do business with such a bad reputation one.

Location is terrible, service is poor and slow. Car had multiple warnings suggesting we refer to the owner's manual. Car still worked. Need to check final bill but I think I was upcharged for insurance (they claim to not take the insurance from the website) and I assume but don't know I got all my deposit back.

Pros:You should read the reviews online before agreeing to do business with this firm. You should not be recommending places to your customers with such low ratings and horror stories.

Economy rent a car does NOT accept Priceline insurance so that was a hassle waiting 45min to get my money refunded on the phone. You guys need to fix that. With all the extras including insurance etc I ended up paying almost double. Staff was good. Car was great. Shuttles were fine. Still working through the bill so we’ll see. Overall if the bill works out it was okay but I’ll probably never rent through economy or Priceline again.
