Very good experience overall. Rental counter agent was great to deal with. Unfortunately, the vehicle originally assigned to me was not parked in the garage spot indicated (nor anywhere else in the garage, as far as I could tell. This required me to go back to the rental counter with all my bags and get another car assigned. The second time, the car was in the indicated spot. No harm done but I did lose at least a half hour because of the problem. Otherwise, I would have no recommendations for improvement.

So if you do not have good credit or a credit card you cannot rent a car they run a soft credit check before you rent the car they dont tell you until you get to the office. Very very un cool me and my 9 year old daughter had to get from salt lake city utah to caro michigan and got stuuck in salt lake because no credit card or good credit dont you think if i had good credit i would be coming to a "car rental" to get a rude home ignorant and stupid

If you do not have a credit card , you cannot rent a car from a place to another. You have to bring back the car at the same place where you did take the car. And that despite kayak approved the trip. So i could not have a car arrived at the airport as expected and planed for my trip to another airport. I had to find a solution by myself with a competitor and it was for sure more expensive. If you do have to rent a car from a place to another and if you do not have a credit card but only a debit card as me do not use kayak as they will put you in a delicate situation.

Buick enclave was superb. Check in at SLC was stress free. Returning the car was quick and easy
We rented the car for about 50 days. They said at the 30 day mark we had to come back to extend the rental (even though we always said it was going to be 50 days). We drove one hour each way for them to do something in the computer. then two weeks later we started to get text messages that our car was reported as a non-return and they were going to report to the police. So we drove back for an hour for them to do something in the computer, but it was a complete mistake on their part that they didn't extend the car properly. It was a total hassle.

It took over forty mins to check in. The clerks seemed to not care about the massive line up and moved slowly. One guy even let a young attractive woman cut the long line and then he flirted with her for over twenty mins. Bad way to start my vacation. I go every year to park city, you can bet that next year I will rent anywhere but here.

The counter staff at the Salt Lake City Budget was rude and unhelpful. When we arrived, he informed us that he did not have the 7 passenger one way rental that we reserved back in January. He told us that we could take another car but could not tell us if it was for 5 or 7. He told us to wait while he checked with another budget person in the car pick up area. He ignored us for over 30 minutes and when we returned to the counter, he continued his rude attitude and acted like it was my problem that the car I reserved was not present. In the meantime, my husband went directly to the car pick up area and spoke with "Johnnie" who was extremely helpful. Johnnie reported he had the 7 passenger car and had tried to call the counter staff multiple times but he did not pick up. The counter staff should not be working in customer services. He lacks interpersonal skills and is made no effort to help the situation. This reflects very poorly on Budget that they allow this person to be the first interaction with customers.

Customer service was terrible at pick up and the wait was long. They charged a different price than quoted. It was good at drop off.
Very good off airport rental company. new Jeep SUV. Friendly staff . Easy check in and checkout, and a reasonable rate to fix a cracked windshield after I got hit by rocks while driving.
My return experience was VERY POSITIVE and REFRESHING...totally UNEXPECTED because of LARRY. It was 4:45 a.m. and 9 degrees...Larry carefully guided me to the return spot. He was very pleasant, smiling, and GENUINELY CONCERNED about how our rental experience + the vehicle was. He then showed me the billing data and carefully verified my email address for the receipt. He was UNHURRIED and LOOKED ME IN THE EYE + LISTENED very carefully...this is not normal, but very UNIQUE in the customer care and service arena. Please RECOGNIZE HIM well...he's a true ambassador for National.
