They gave me the wrong car said it was a 4 by4 and over charged and I had to argue and prove from Jeep dealer it wasnt to get a charge.

the process was smooth. we received an bigger car with less fuel efficiency. The vehicle had 29000 miles and was damaged on the roof and driver door.

When we picked up our car, we got about an hour away, and the transmission went. The car was shaking horribly, wouldn’t go above 60, engine lights came on the dash. We called and they said all we could do was drive it an hour back to exchange, which felt unsafe as well as frustrating as we had a 6 hour drive ahead of us to set up a tent for camping. We went back to exchange, and I asked how we would be compensated for a car that risked our safety and had a transmission that failed immediately, and was told we could not be compensated anything. Was also told we were responsible to go fill the gas tank on the car that the transmission broke down on before they could accept it back. I just got my bill for the new car, and they charged me for pre paid gas even though we declined that and returned the second car full. Overall would NOT recommend.

They didn't have the car I reserved for, so had to choose something else, not ideal but worked. One of the tires had a slow leak, which made us nervous about driving such long distances. Reported this when I returned the car, so I hope they address it before giving to the next party.

This place is a scam. They will double charge you for taxes and fees, which were already paid for when we booked the car online. And then tried to double charge us if you prepay for fuel. You have to review the contract line by line to ensure all the math adds up. Avoid this place and go someplace else.

Need better indication that this location is offstation from the airport. I had to take Uber both to and from airport. Extremely inconvenient when traveling with a large family. Van didn't get all that great fuel economy.

So if you do not have good credit or a credit card you cannot rent a car they run a soft credit check before you rent the car they dont tell you until you get to the office. Very very un cool me and my 9 year old daughter had to get from salt lake city utah to caro michigan and got stuuck in salt lake because no credit card or good credit dont you think if i had good credit i would be coming to a "car rental" to get a rude home ignorant and stupid

I am having knee surgery month and I’m having a hard time when I walk long distances. I explained to the kind gentleman at the Salt Lake City airport, Avis drop off. He went out of his way, found a wheelchair, and took me to where I needed to be. He was very kind, I really appreciate this kind of service. Unfortunately, it’s very hard to find that in these times. Was not told that there is a $25 transportation fee if dropping off after hours. That should be mentioned and added to the sub-total when booking this rental. Not sure if that's Kayak's fault or Economy. Plus, was not told that the Economy Rent a Car brand is also called Affordable Renta Car....at at the airport where reantal car pick up shuttles come, there is no Economy Rent a Car logo on the sign. So was thinking I was in the wrong place, but could not figure out where to go. Fortunately the shuttle happen to pull up as I was trying to figure out what to do. I told the driver they need to have their Economy Car Rental logo up there....he said they do....Affordable car Rental....how am I supposed to know they're the same co.??

Absolutely zero communication about where or what this place is prior to arrival. No communication about the need to provide insurance policy information. Terrible operating hours. The people are nice but that’s where the good ends. The car had damaged seats inside, damaged gear shift, expired plates, a loose rear view mirror.

The woman who helped me had an absolute edge. That wasn’t fun. Took 30 min on hold when I called to find out how to get back to the airport if I was dropping off at 615 when they close at 6 pm. There was no communication at pick up about drop off procedures and the shuttle.

Bait and switch. I reserved a Jeep Compass Latitude (SUV) and was presented with a Jeep Gladiator (pick-up truck). I asked for what I reserved, was told that was not available and my only other option was a Jeep Wrangler at an additional cost (nearly 75% more what I paid for my original reservation. The customer service staff at SLC were not helpful and couldn't care less. Oh also - the SLC Nu Car facility is NOT at the SLC airport,, you have to take an off-airport shuttle to get there. Overall, poor experience and will never use them again.

They canceled my car when I arrived to pick it up. They had magazines and brochures for Wyoming and Yellowstone in their office. I told them I was going to Yellowstone and they canceled my reservation saying going to Wyoming was against the terms of service. They didn’t even allow me to make alternative travel plans within their terms.

I never even got the car because they did not come to pick me up from the shuttle. I was left out in the freezing cold for half an hour before I went to enterprise. I should’ve been refunded, but I didn’t care enough to ask. This is a pitiful company and if I don’t get my money back, I’m gonna make sure everybody finds out.
