There was a difference between the price when I booked on Kayak and what I was sent from their 'partner' for the rental (Priceline - that price was a bit higher), but the Kayak price was what I was charged by Dollar. Long wait in line for pick up at the Santa Ana airport, looked like that was the case at the other places too. Service at the counter was good, and I was happy with the car. Car return was very smooth and the staff person there was great.

A one day rental is over priced for a compact vehicle. Pick up took over 1 hr. Drop off: closed upon scheduled arrival time at 2pm and had to wait over 35min for the office to open (20+min more than the sign said on the door), which is ridiculous bc it was still unannounced since the scheduled time was 2pm. Basically causing delays of almost 23rd in our plans. Not professional or acceptable to repeat business with Budget

I had put a convertible mustang and received a Camaro that was not convertible. This was my only complaint other than that they were great.

I booked an SUV and they offered me a Camero or Challenger. Then had to wait 20 minutes for them to find me an SUV and the gentleman helping me could not get in contact with other people to assist us faster. I don't think the car was cleaned very well or wiped down prior to giving us the keys, but overall it was fine. Dropping off the car was possibly the worst experience I could imagine. I got there before they closed and waited almost 20 minutes until someone came to help me. The woman was rude and told me I had to use the drop box because they were closed, though I was there prior to closing. If she had assisted me upon arrival, I would have returned the car a day early and not had to pay for the extra day but the lack of customer service and willingness to help me costed me an extra $150. I would not drop off at this location again unless it was made aware prior that you need to use the drop box and not talk to anyone.

Bad from the start. Checked in and had to provide card used for booking. Since it was booked online through apple pay, no card was used. I was forced to call customer service to change the card although it was pre-paid. This caused a 15 minute delay. Then when I went back to the counter, after checking me in, they said the car would be ready in 40 minutes at 2:40. My check in was 1:30. Of course they offered that if I paid for an upgrade it would be ready now. Scam.

I have Hertz Gold, but they still made me go through all the license and credit card stuff because their computer can't handle that the reservation came from Kayak, even though the booking was on their site. Took forever. Also the car did not have a functioning air conditioner, and it was a hot weekend, so the whole experience was bad.

We booked a full size SUV (GMC Yukon) 2 weeks in advance, when we reached to pick up first of all we had to wait in line for more than an hour and then we were told that the vehicle we requested ]wasn't available and had to downgraded to a minivan the guy at the counter had an attitude of take it or leave it.

The documents received from the Alamo Rental Car desk team at SNA did not include their particular location’s phone #. Once finding the SNA Alamo Rental Car phone # on the web, their hours of operation were listed incorrectly, and I then needed to phone the MAIN ALAMO CUSTOMER SERVICE # to reach an agent to extend my reservation for another day. It would be helpful for the SNA Airport Alamo Rental Car franchise to include their office phone # and update the corrected regular business hours on all documentation given to clients and on the internet. Thank you.

It would have been better transparency. When they brought the car it was not what I order and when they brought another car they charge me extra for the vehicle. If I would have known for bringing another car would be charge to me I would have just cancel my reservation. Not once would I notify about the charge.

I reserved BMW X3 online. When I went to the Enterprise and requested to check in, I asked if they have the BMW available, the customer service representative told me yes, they checked me in and charged my card, so she asked me to wait until her colleague comes to help me. When Shalvy came she told me that they don’t have BMW and I should drive Q5 instead. I was really shocked, Q5 was not in good condition, there were a lot of scratches on car. I didn’t have any options, since I must to drive towards San Diego for my daughter’s graduation. I asked for different availability and they charged me 179 instead of 130. It was very frustrating.

This location was not at the airport like I thought - but their customer service was so good they called me the day before my pickup to make sure I knew I would have to get a ride to their location, but that by doing so, I was pry ably saving $200 on my total rental. Add to that, the gentleman who checked me in was was helpful, cheerful, and kind. Great experience.

Pick-up was fine and initially the car seemed fine, then it started leaking gas the first time we tried to fill the tank, when we only two hours from home, and it took Avis 5 hours to get us into a new car, leaving us stranded in a parking lot in Phoenix, AZ with no bathroom from 9pm to midnight, and then waiting at PHX airport for another two hours to get a car. In the end they offered us almost no apologies, a tiny 50.00 dollar discount, and turned what should have been a straightforward 7-8 hour car ride into a 13 hour ordeal, which meant I ended up being awake for close to 24 hours. And to top it off, they didn't extend our rental period so after finally getting home and to sleep at 5am (I should have been home by about 11pm and in bed shortly after if all had gone well) I had to wake up a few hours later to go return the car and avoid the fees for a late return.

Wasn’t able to pick up my car since flight arrived a little later than expected and this place closes at 5pm. I called to see if they’d work with me; the guy answers and says “didn’t you see on the website we close at 5?” Also no refund available.
