Long wait for pickup, and the worse part was they require to see proof of insurance online instead of my proof of insurance on paper. There security is $1000, which is unusually high. I got an email the day of arrival saying they recommend I walk to their office or shuttle will take at least 30 min. Overall, it’s clear they do not take service into consideration.

The wait to get a car was 2.5 hours. As I’m in line, I can hear the representatives & how kindly they treat the other clients. When I got to the counter with my reservation that had unlimited miles, they discriminated against me and told me the car was for 150 miles only and I would have to pay 50 cents per miles after that. The funny thing is, they never asked for my ID, they never asked to see my reservation, they never asked where I was headed, they never asked for my flight information like they did everyone else. They decided that I wasn’t fit to drive their rental car. To give more context, I had on a t-shirt & shorts because it was hot outside. I also wear a mask when traveling due to the overexposure to people and germs. I am in my 30s but most people think I’m in my 20s. I am a doctor and I have my own business. I was traveling for the holiday weekend because my aunt passed away and I missed my last hospital visit because I couldn’t get to my destination because of the older gentleman at the counter decided to treat me less than human. I’m currently grieving but I have reached out to my lawyer to see what can be done about this situation because I lost a lot this day that I can never get back. I hope the people who work the front counter at the LAX location find peace because I did not ask for any special accommodation, I was never rude nor did I argue with anyone like other customers who still received a car unlike me. I just would like to be treated like everyone else.

The gentleman who assisted us at pick up was par-excellent. His name is L.C. at Midway LAX The vehicle we reserved was not ready at pickup but L.C. resolved the matter to our satisfaction. The price was great. The car was new, with low miles but the seats were all stained light gray fabric. The check in process is a bit odd - you speak with an agent via a teleconference screen and have to find and email to them documents at the time. The car wasn’t ready so there was about a 20 minute wait after the teleconference process.

It was ok. I arrived early and they told me I needed to wait until 2pm to get the rate I paid online. I 100% understand. I initially was willing to check out early but didn’t realize it would be more expensive. I decided to wait. I reserved a full size Toyota Camry online but they gave me a Nissan Sentra. The agent told me the Sentra was a full size car which it’s absolutely not. My sister is tall so I reserved the full size and that’s what I expected. The agent lied and told me to was. I went ahead and took it because I needed a car. I did not appreciate getting a car I did not reserve

The low price was unbeatable. The new car was wonderful. It just needed an oil change and the procedure to rent a car at pick up was too long and required extra paper work for local renters. If I had known that I may have been better prepared for the long wait and the unexpected $1000 deposit.

We were charged for liability by a rude rep that denied our proof of full coverage insurance, which included liability insurance in the date of California. We were charged close to $150.00 for this liability insurance. We emailed ACE and are trying to resolve. At this time we have not received a reply with a resolution.
The staff was great. In and out the return no problem great place will go back.

Unfortunately Enterprise would not rent me the car because, according to their policies, at an Airport location you must have a Credit Card (not a debit card) in order to rent a car (as a local resident).

First, the vehicle was disgusting and stunk horribly. We had to go wash it and clean the inside just to be able to handle the smell. When we got to the rental place, they stated that they would not rent to us unless we paid for their insurance. Which wasn’t written anywhere on the reservation. All sorts of hidden fees, ended up costing a considerable amount more than we were originally quoted. Overall not happy at all.

Terrible!!!! They rented my vehicle to someone else without letting us know. We were stranded without a vehicle in LA with children. When we called about our vehicle, they said theres nothing they can do and shut the phone on our face. We spent lots of money on uber to find another rental. It took a week to get confirmation that we are getting a refund on our vehicle. However still waiting for a response for our deposit. Never ever recommend or ever rent form them again!

The info sent to pick up the car was incorrect. I spent almost an hour tracking down a ride and figuring out where to go. The staff wasn’t that great. The Expedia customer service was ok but couldn’t really do much. The Airport Van customer service line was friendly and the sole redeeming factor. The car smelled like cigarettes and wasn’t really that clean and they gave it to me nearly with an empty tank of gas. I definitely do not recommend. That said. They were cheap.

I rented a Chrysler mini van for our trip in Los Angeles, CA. Airport Van Rental was a very good deal compared to the other rental companies. The only issue we really had was trying to find their office when we went to pick the vehicle up because it’s located in the far back part of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. I would definitely rent a vehicle from them again.
