have a customer call centre that can EASILY REACHED! I want to speak with an agent! stop with the press 1 press 6 press 2 press get lost! NOW My rental was extended, and charged and confirmed by email that the extension had been completed and paid for. I did not have faith that the call centre lady truly had a grasp on what was what, however, she did charge my card, so i figured that she had. I called back to confirm a few hours later, seems all was set. You can guess that ending can't you? It wasn't extended. thankfully Daniel at the local branch fixed this. Now YOU FFIX THE CALL CENTRE - Oh, btw, an international licence does not work n your hertz customer page. Fix that as well.

I'm renting for business and had to cancel my flight but canceling KY rental resulting in costing me $100 and the rental for a week was only $280. Bad business. I will not use hertz for my rental needs.

Terrible. Hertz mixed up the reservation, then forced me to cancel. I had to rebook for a more expensive and lesser car while waiting over an hour with mud family. The Gold Member agent refused to help.

Despite having a reservation for nearly two months, Hertz informed me that they were oversold less than 24 hours before my reservation and put me on a waiting list. I was then unable to contact them to give me an update of my status on the waitlist as my flight approached. Ultimately, I was unable to get a car and canceled my reservation. Fortunately, I was able to coordinate other transportation, but Hertz left me hanging

Handy location across from Union Station. We took the train from the airport (buy your $10.50 tickets via the Uber app) and saved 60% on the car rental Vs. what they wanted at the terminal! Trains run every 15mins..and it’s a 40min trip by car/train either way..

I signed up for Sixt through Kayak. I tried to cancel my reservation, but because it was booked through Kayak, I was unable to cancel on their website, because they said I was supposed to cancel through Kayak. But Kayak also does not assist in canceling. I emailed several times with Sixt, trying to cancel my reservation, and they never canceled it and charged me the full fee. I will not be using Kayak nor Sixt ever again for renting cars.

Avoid renting through this company and Kayak if you can help it. I paid in full and was charged $100 to cancel same day after they said pick up location could be changed….for another $200. I was searching Denver international airport and booked a rental for pick up downtown, not even sure why that was in my search results. It defaults to pay in full so I had no idea. Kayak said they have to be the ones to fix it, they said it had to be kayak. At the end of the day I lost $100 but I can only imagine what else they would have swindled us for. Never again for Kayak or this rental company.

I showed up and they did not have the vehicle that was reserved, they said that they had left a voicemail the day prior, but I did not receive a call or a voicemail. The staff had no other solutions or recommendations for other companies to get cars from and were very rude.

Reserved a car, and when I arrived, they did not have a vehicle available for me. They said reservation just guarantees a car “that day” not at the time you reserve. The expectation was that I wait 8+ hours for a vehicle

No car was available, I was told that Hertz customers would get priority because they had priority over Thrifty. I could not get a car and had to turn around and come home. I had to call to get my money back for the rental but airfare, hotel and taxi to the tune of $500 is out of pocket and nobody wants to accept responsibility! This appears to be common occurance based on the input from Thrifty managers.
