Their aircraft are old. But otherwise they’re very nice. At BKK, everyone will have access to their lounge before departure. On flight, cabin attendants were very attentive, even for an hour flight they have full meal service.

The main problem is that it is almost impossible to reach customer service for anything. I was trying to select vegetarian meal option and the website gives error. I tried reaching customer service through chat, email and phone to no success. They put you on hold and don’t get any response from email.

Bangkok air was ok. However, this who travel experience was terrible. The trouble all started with FlyDubia not checking us in all the way from our originating airport to our final destination. I asked the person checking us in to do this and she said she could not. And that we needed to do it in Dubai once we got there. However, our plan was delayed in Krakow and then circled over Dubai for about 45 mintues. Once we landed we reached our gate before the flight took off. However, we were told they Gave our seats to other people because we had not ben checked in. This led to us waiting 6-7 hours in Dubai with 3 small children. The whole time i had to work with the Emirates representative to try and get us to our final destination in time for the event we were speaking at for work. by the time He (he was amazing! and very helpful) got us on flights we were no longer going to be able to travel together as a family once we reached Bangkok. Once we did get to bangkok we had to spend another 4-5 hours working with the airlines to try and get us all on the same flight and the same airline. We went to Bangkok air and tai Air. They all told us they could not help us because Emirates was the one who made all the changes and we needed to talk to them. However, Emirates did not have an office open until 16:30. The flight my wife and daughter were on left at 17:15 and we did not have time to wait for them. Bangkok finally agreed to help and called Emirates for us and got us all on the same flight. We reached our finaly destination 12 hours late. I am thankful we were able to make it in time for our speaking engament. However, This is the worst travel experience i have ever had. I should not have had to work that hard to get my family from Point A to Point B after spending $6200. I travel enough to know that things can go wrong and there to be a certain level of stress. However, way past normal travel stress. and we were so exhausted by the time we arrived that it effected our work performance. this was all avoidable had the original person checking us in had done as I asked. All other representatives we worked with kept asking us why she did not check us in and that she should have. So she obviously made a big mistake here. We also had some problems on our return trip because of this. When we arrived to the Phuket airport the reps there said they did not see us and that our tickets had been cancelled. They called Emirates and got it all worked out but that is how much the original mistake impacted the whole trip.

Pros:It’s nice that they offer food on such a short flight, but it would be nicer if they offered an option without meat.
