I have never been treated so well at a rental car place. The gal that helped us was so kind and bubbly. We accidentally rented the car somewhere else and she was able to fix everything, match the price and get us on our way.

Has a reservation, only to be told at pick up they had no car available. Told us we’d just have to come back or wait 4hrs or more. No accountability no apology just rude, unprofessional. When i complained as to why no one contacted me ahead of time, and that making a reservation was literally to avoid this situation they said they won’t rent to me! Worst experience ever will never book Herz again.

The rental place did not have my car when I showed up to pick it up. They claimed they tried calling me beforehand and claimed they didn't have my phone number even though it was clearly on the reservation. Needless to say, I would never use them again.

I was not able to rent the car as advertised on Kayak, Your advertisement said I could rent with a debit card. I offered a $500 deposit but they would not take it.

I booked lax but the reservation was made for a location 17 miles away with no way to get there. When I cancelled because it was the wrong location I was charged a fee. Very wrong

Kayak is useless if you need to call them to make any adjustments and sixt can’t do anything without kayak. Basically I’m saying do not use kayak as if you do make a mistake you are stuck in the water as they don’t accept calls or support chat….

We were pretty disappointed when LA traffic got us to the Sixt office at 5:10 pm on pick-up day to discover that the office closed at 5:00. A phone call would have been nice. At least it would have saved us the time we spent in downtown traffic finding the office and getting our ride back to pick us up again. We still would have had to pay an Uber to get back there from Pasadena the next morning. The vehicle (Chrysler Pacifica) was clean and comfortable, if not at all what we wanted. Apparently it was the only vehicle available. I still have not gotten charged, which is awkward. Otherwise, I had a good experience. The young man who waited in me was efficient, friendly, and helpful.

The address 990 8th St is not the actual address and there is no parking, unless you pay, needlessly, because you can park at 832 Francisco Ave which is the actual address.

The car was is unsafe driving condition. No windshield wiper fluid. Could barely see out of the windshield. The car made a grinding noise when turning. The car was not on full upon pick up. The maintenance required take care to dealer indicator light was on. Absolutely HORRIFIC. Parked car. Did not drive it. Extremely disappointed.

It would have been a better experience if they actually had the SUV I rented. Instead I had to sign a new contract at almost three times the price for an old beat up Hyundai.

I reserved a car and AVIS called me minutes before picking up saying that they dont have any cars. Wouldn't recommend their services to anybody.

I was up charged at the airport. The original reservation was for $150 but I was told the airport fees and tax were an additional $150. I complained but was stuck and had to pay in order to rent the car.

Sign said Budget open till 7p.m. Was there before that but the office was closed. Was told we'd still have to pay the same amount even though we were picking up the car the next day. Car had streaks on it.

Wirst experience ever. Never book with them again. I got a lower category of vehicle without any refund. Also did not get another car in 15 days. Car was extremely dirty and filthy. Lots of damages and scratches.
