Please check the rental car location hours before booking. I reserved a car for 5pm and my flight got in slightly later than expected and took an Uber to enterprise arriving at 5:10 to find out they closed at 5pm, so I was left stranded without a car and unable to get through to anyone. Kind of ridiculous to let someone reserve a car for the exact time the branch closes. Kayak shouldn’t allow this either

We made a reservation and went to the Enterprise counter at the Atlanta Airport and was told we did not have a reservation and they had no cars available. We had to rent from Avis and paid over $600.00 for 3 days to go to a wedding.

No car. I booked for ATL. Was told at airport that car was downtown on Peach St! No excuse for this. Cost me a lot of time and money. Last time I will use or recommend 3rd party booking.

When I arrived, I was told I was at the wrong Enterprise desk...and that the other one was closed. There were NO cars available, at any price (let alone the "bargain" price I had booked) and I had to take a much higher walk-up rate at Avis. Lucky for me I have credit and Avis had a car! Enterprise USED TO BE a reliable vendor, but I hear nothing good about them anymore.

I was searching Kayak for car rentals at Atlanta airport. Sixt was suggested as the best option. Only after booking I found that the rental location was on the other end of the city. It is unbelievable that I was tricked into renting a car at the other end of the town. A confirmation email from Kayak said I would receive an email from Sixt with support information. I received no communication from Sixt and could not access their support. Finally, I did not pick up the car and was charged the total amount by Sixt. This is unbelievable. I hope that you can help me get the refund.

I requested a car from Atlanta Airport. When I arrived at the counter in the airport I was told I had rented from the sixt location 20 minutes away. When I arrived there by Uber which was an extra $35. There were some other people who had the same experience. To compound the problem they didn't have the car I ordered, a BMW X3 and could only offer a Chevy Malibu, which as I was already late I had to take. Overall a really bad experience and with no one to talk to at priceline there is nothing I can do except stop using this service.

Worst experience ever. We were ask to pick up the car at 12 but the shop closed at 13. Impossible to rent another car in Atlanta. We miss 2 night out of our cabin rental and had to pay an hotel. Will never go through this website again

Car was given to me with fuel beeing empty. I realized it after I had left already. Front tires was borderline. Car had only 2000 miles left before oil service would have been required. We drove almost 3000.

Pickup experience was awful. They told me there was a 5 hour wait for my car, even though I had a reservation (other people had been waiting almost 6 hours). The people at the counter weren't really explaining what was going on at first. Since I was not prepared for the 6 hour wait I left to eat and get a power bank for my phone. I got back hours before my expected time but they implied they gave away my car because I wasn't there and had to start my wait again. Even though I had been there on time and they were the ones who were late. Also I had already paid! The absolute least they could have done was call me and alert me to return and held my car unless I did not. Overall I had to wait about 4.5 hours.

Horrible. Upon arrival to pick up my rental I was told there was an hour wait which turned into 2 hours. At that point I cancelled my reservation and went to another car rental business that immediately provided me with a car. This was my first and last experience with Thrifty.

I was in line to pickup a car when arriving at ATL for 1 hour and 45 minutes. This is unacceptable by any standard. After getting the car, I had to wait in another 20 minute line to leave the parking lot. This was on a Friday and yes, generally a high traffic day but that's a foreseeable condition by management and not a reason for the extreme lines. There has been almost no innovation in the ease of pickup of cars at rental car counters. I'm looking for a company that is willing to innovate and completely remake the process of renting a car. I won't be looking for Thrifty in the future.

Only after being on line for 45 minutes did they let everyone know that they didn’t have cars to my reservations that were there. Instead if you booked in the last week your reservation wouldn’t be honored at all and if you did there was a roughly 3 hour wait after you get to the front the line to get a car. This left hundreds of families including me to scramble to find alternatives last minute. What’s worse in my opinion is that after paying 4x to get a car at another agency they mentioned that this was normal for dollar and thrifty at that location and they were nearly out of cars from last minute cancelled booking that made it to their lines that day

Avis website allowed us to make a reservation but when we got to the location they said they had no cars available but that’s after they ignored us and others waiting for at least 10 mins. Horrible. We will never use Avis again.

Since there was 6 of us with suitcases, we rented a Suburban and when we went to pick it up, there was none available. When I gave her my name, she kept looking at the sheet that was in front of her. I asked if there was a problem and she said, yes, we do not have a Suburban available. She excused herself and went to call someone. She came back to let us know that there was a mini van available. So, we had to rent that or would not be able to get to our final destination. We had to put suitcases under our feet and drive like that for a little over 5 hours due to the size difference of the mini van compared to the Suburban. The attendant was very nice and was as helpful as she could be with the lack of inventory. Very disappointed and would not rent from Avis again.

My car rental reservation was cancelled the morning of pickup and not a single available car could be found within a 25 mile radius of the Atlanta metro area. What a nightmare! NEVER again!

You made our reservation at the wrong location. We made the reservation for the Atlanta airport but you all switched it to a location 35 minutes away. And by the time we arrived, the AVIS location at the airport was sold out. We ended up going with another rental company. We won't be using a 3rd party to make car reservations again.
