Pros:The staff was very helpful and friendly. The fuel tank was full (not a big deal, but made things a bit easier). The INSIDE of the car was clean.

Cons:The outside of the car was filthy. It should have been cleaned before I rented it. I could write messages in the dirt!

Reserved a 12-passenger van for 7 weeks. Avis will only give you a rental agreement for 30 days. I was told they would automatically email a new rental agreement for the remaining time. That didn’t happen. It took COUNTLESS phone calls, two visits back to the pickup location to get the updated agreement. Avis customer service in a word, sucks. Twice the agents hung up on me. I was transferred around so many times my head was spinning. Oh, I almost forgot about the certified letter demanding that I return a vehicle that wasn’t due back. I will not use Avis again, which is too bad — they used to be a decent rental car company to do business with.
