Toyota car rentals in Montreal

Pick up and drop off was fast and professional! Great value for the car size and rental time. Shuttle service to the airport could be better. We waited almost a whole hour after dropping off our vehicle.

This rental agency is a scam.

Vehicle was very low on gas. We put gas in and then when we brought it back it had a lot more gas in then when we picked it up. They refused to reimburse us for the extra gas that we had paid for. Very frustrating. I feel like this is their way of ripping us off

Handling of costumer at the desk was very poor. I was denied for the car I had booked and after wasting one and a half hour at desk we were upgraded. There policy was not clear.

The easiest and friendliest car rental process ever! Booked online for Nelson Airport pickup and return Feb ‘24. Cheerful and helpful man at the desk. No surprises. Smooth process. But be aware that there is an extra surcharge for the airport ( ours was $45).

They gave me a ride back to my hotel after I returned the car....

Waited for the shuttle at viscount station for 40minutes. Walking would be 20mins. Was forced to buy additional insurance for 12$ a day and paid more than the original cost of renting the car.

They didn’t accept the insurance i booked through kayak so I lost $40.

We loved our experience at the dealer, the representative was very nice and took he’s time to explain everything to us on how the rental works, so overall very pleasant experience Thank you

Location is a bit far from the airport but lots too far. This time, locations near airport were all sold out, but price was better deal here. I took a taxi to get to there, then total cost was much less. People in the store were very much friendly for me. Very comfortable both rent and return. I totally recommend this place

Car worked well, good model to offer but it has some paint damage on the front. Price went up almost 200CAD at the end almost 50% more than budget!!! Will avoid avis at all cost next time

Everything was Perfect

Drop-off is messy, the parking guy doesn't seem happy about anything.

Never got the car I booked tried to fob me off with a tesla. Poor staff, not interested in your needs. No desire to ever use hertz again, canceled and booked with budget, who were most accommodating.

Great to see rental companies making the switch and offering EVs. Pick up was easy for Mtl airport, no surprised fees, final bill was what I expected. The records shown that the car was charged to 82%, it was only 57%. A note was easily added to the carbon copy but I still had to stop after 10 minutes in my trip to charge the car myself in order to make it to the following charging station in Qc city. I asked to get a top up as I was willing to wait on site but since there was no charging station in the facility, I was offered to return to the front counter to pick up a different tesla. the waiting time to make it through the lineup and the risk to end up with another halfway charged vehicle wasn’t worth the 30 minutes stop to charge it myself. I understand that it was particularly cold that day and this tend to be tough on batteries, but having the ability to keep your standby EV plugged in would definitely enhance customer satisfaction.

No one at counter at 10:55pm. Couldn’t get car. We were not only party. Next morning we were told that they canceled reservation and had no cars available. Talked with hertz in person downtown Montreal. Same story, but added they were short staffed so they couldn’t help us. Thankfully found a car at another company for one way rental.

I had a little misunderstanding with refilling the gas but it was sorted out easily and I had a great experience with the National employees! Thank you so much
