I understand the prices of rental cars are astronomical right now. And even with kayak finding me the best price, it was still overpriced. But I appreciated finding this deal. For sure.
It's was terrible! Pet hair everywhere it smelled like animal pee. It's was trashy the had to give me another vehicle and it was even worse!

I'm not sure Avis could do better. They did fine. Drop off at airport was difficult because of the airport bus system and distance from the terminal. Car was great, drove well, clean. No issues.

Drop Off, Easy with no attendant, put keys in box and go. Pickup, horrible, line wait was 20 minutes with 1 attendant and many customers waiting.

My credit card that I use for car rentals had expired and you really can’t get a car without a credit card. Also, we rushed to get back by the deadline to the airport and there were very loose directions on what to do with your keys etc. I was nervous about not getting my deposit back.

I received a message while en route to Tulsa that Payless would not be able to honor my reservation as they did not have any vehicles. I ended up stranded as a result. I will never ever book a rental with Payless again.
They rented the car that I had reserved, and did not have an option for me. I was left scrambling to get another rental from another company in town 1hr before I was to leave on my trip.

They gave our car away as we were picking it up. My wife was in surgery and I really needed to have a car because we were from out of town. The rental car facility would not honor my reservation, even though they had other cars in inventory. Extremely poor experience.
