Thrifty sold us a Sedan but were out of Sedans when we got there. We had to upgrade to a large SUV and pay more $ or wait an hour for a Sedan to arrive. We also ordered, and paid for an EZ PASS that was invalid. So not only did we pay for the EZ PASS, we also paid for tolls the entire way back which was upwards for $100. When I called Thrifty, they said they would remove the EZ PASS charge which never happened. And if they didn't, I had to wait for my final bill then call. It's not even worth the time. The Cars we're cheaper than most other rentals, but I can now see why.

Pros:Air traffic is at an all time high and some people don't take into consideration that rental car companies sold off their fleets due to the pandemic. Additionally, when people extend their rentals it affects the next person that had reserved the same size vehicle. Fortunately, even though the wait was a little longer than usual, we had no issues picking up or returning the vehicle at O'Hare.

Pros:Staff tried their best, kept their cool but our car and many others were not there for our 8 am pick up time nor were we given any advance notice that there was going to be a delay. Many disgruntled clients
Cons:Have the cars there at the scheduled time or don’t accept reservations. At least give us a head’s up so we could have done something else for 3 hours….
