Everything was fine except when we went to drop off the car. I had reserved it until 4pm, she said we were supposed to return it at 12mn, and was mean about it. When the bill came I was correct. I had paid for what was reserved.
Excellent. But they should have told me there was a toll sticker on the front window.

Excellent, Edwin eagerly and thoroughly filled the rental contract of the vehicle, explaining all options. Was then politely greeted by Gabriel at the end of the rental, making sure my rental was to our satisfaction.

I can not believe it took close to an hour to finally have the keys in hand. I have rented and traveled many times, this was a first. I felt the attendant, although friendly and patient, wanted my 1st born before sealing the deal. I provided my driver's license and insurance as usual but, they required a copy of my declaration sheet as proof of full coverage. I'm sure he was only do his job; however, maybe during booking this should all be addressed so there are no surprises at arrival for pickup. Thx you

They were quick to check in and out. Car was new with under 5000 miles and clean. They did charge a daily fee for tolls which was really not needed.

The car worked great and the customer service was really nice. However, I was surprised that we had to purchase insurance. When checking out, the cost doubled due to this added expense.
The shuttle to and from the airport was fine, but the drop off location was difficult to find especially in the early morning. They need to do a better job of explaining that at check-in. The morning crew was surly, (somewhat understandable) but they could have done a better job at saying "good bye and come back soon!"

I like the that person at the counter did not try to upsale everything.
After having a van reserved for months, upon arrival they told me they no longer rent them and they tried to offer me 2 vehicles to drive 9 people around all week. The sales people were horrible and claim that they had called me several times about the rental which was a lie based on phone records. The company sent me several confirmations and never cancelled the reservation. At the last minute I had to scramble and find a different rental while my group waited at the airport. Horrible!

The pick-up location isn't at the airport but in the heart of Condado which I new anyway so you have to add a ride to and from the airport if you fly in.

Office hours in the Condado pickup location should be extended to 5:00p to accommodate airlines arriving to Puerto Rico in afternoon
We'll definitely dispute the charges on the credit card - the car broke down twice and upon our return we were informed that hertz would us call us to ascertain this issue. We got a bill sent to us via email and the phone call from them hasn't happened. We're upset 😡

I like how no one would ever take my complaint seriously. I locked the key in the car and had to find a locksmith to get it open. When I called the company, they told me the information to get local service was on the rental agreement. I explained that the rental agreement was locked in the car! To this date, I've still not heard from them.

The car had roaches and had a lot of stains in the seats. After dropping it back at the airport and got our receipt online we noticed charges like the LDW that we got through the app and the lady at the airport took notice when we picked the car. In total they charged $199.92 for the LDW. They also charged for Roadside assistance and Personal Protection which we never asked or wasn’t offered. I will never use Thrifty again. I called their number in San Juan airport (787)253-2525 to file a claim and it took them 25 minutes to answer the call. Horrible service.

The service was great. Super easy pick up and drop off. The bad part was the car seemed to have an electrical problem. I used the car play and everytime we went over a slight uneven road it would disconnect the phone, not using the using and using the usb, which caused distraction to driving.

I paid for Allianz life insurance for $11/day separately and then was also charged coverage of $25/day (basically the same daily rental price as the car) on top of that so it was double what I expected. Probably will dispute the charge.

The Thrifty counter at the airport was closed so we picked up from Hertz. Simple enough. The car was adequate, but the key fob rarely worked and it was frustrating to have to manually open the doors. We were only given one key and the key ring was braided metal with a loose piece that pricked my finger several times. The Corolla may also need brake work as they vibrate when pressed on downhill sections of the highway.
