My CAA membership was not accepted to add an extra driver at no cost. It is supposed to be a benefit of membership. It has been four days now and there has been no contact from Hertz with my final bill. They owe me a deposit refund.

The rental agency refused to honor the reservation price. My wife was offered a pickup truck at 60% premium to our original booking for a compact car. Only under the threat of cancellation did the provider magically "discover" a compact SUV that suddenly become available for a smaller premium. We elected to cancel anyhow and were met with a hostile response. Avoid Hertz in Kelowna!

I cannot think of anything that could be better. The company was true to it’s word. As a seldom user of car rentals I am always suspicious of their business ethics, (ie charging for damage to the car that I am not responsible for). I have experienced this in the past with two separate car rental companies. Bravo Hertz, easy pick up/drop off, reasonable rate and friendly staff.

A decent car (Honda Civic) in excellent clean condition. Good value for money. Friendly staff called a couple of times prior to pickup date to ensure all was completed and correct. Rental went smoothly.

Computer problems when I arrived and I felt they didn't care about my plans. I did get an apology however as I was going finally. The car had no winter tires which is compulsory in BC after October 1st. I traveled through mountains so was lucky there was no snow or ice when I was driving.

The logistics of the pick up turned out to be perfect, but we’re not well explained in the reservation materials, so I had to do a little detective work. Also the local brand name of Aligo should have been included in the reservation, as the Ace name isn’t well known in Kelowna.

Pickup was a breeze. Signage was difficult to follow when returning but we got it figured out eventually. Car had a terrible shake at Hwy speed. Hope they get it fixed. We notified them when we noticed and they felt it may be snow in the wheels. It was 10 deg C.

My reservation was for a VW Jetta or similar, the car I received was a Chevy Spark. It would have been around a hundred dollars for a 2day upgrade. I am a tall man, I was not impressed to say the least.

The pickup counter was closed during regular hours. I sent my associates twice over 2 days and nobody was there. It made for a bad experience for the employee I sent. We rented a separate car and cancelled this booking.

The car should have had winter tires as we arrived in Kelowna when it was very snowy and slippery on the roads. We were told we did not need winter tires yet we would be responsible for anything that happened on the road even if as a result of the weather conditions. We definitely should have had winter tires.
