I made a reservation on a different location which I was not aware that the pick up location was not where we will arrive by air. I called and notify of my out-of-hour arrival. They accommodate the off time but not the pick up car. So, I called the customer service and the very next day I was able to pick up the rental. It was my fault to have not known the pick up location. All in all, I recommend National/Alamo Car Rental. They are accommodating. Thanks for the service.

The person at the counter didn’t want to help to match my needs for car rental. He was very disinterested to his job and he had one line answer and kept repeating same answer when I explained my situation. I wanted car drop off after hours. I understand this avis facility had no after hours option (which is very annoying and it broke the deal). Who wants to come again to the facility next day morning, pay for extra day (when car rentals are very expensive these days).

The car I rented had automated steering in the event the car began to wander on the road. The first night I had it it was quite windy and I was fighting with the automatic steering to the point that I was seriously contemplaing taking the car back to Avis. Drivers who are going to use similar vehicles with automated steering should be warned about this. After the first night I found the car was a joy to drive. I also want to mention that I had accidentally left a book that I was reading at the Avis counter. I got a call the next day telling me about the book and to pick it up when I dropped the car off and sure enough, when I dropped the car off, I picked up the book. Thanks go to the Avis counter guy.

Gas meter read less then line when took car out wanted to charge us.except it was not parked in same spot we took it from which was with tank at back sloped down.then we parked with tank raised so represented as lower.eventhough when we filled it up the gas actually spat overflow out.they didn't seem to want to believe us.so if renting make sure you park in same spot you took it from to allow for major Dios in their parking lot grades.to get an dven read.as we say apples for apples.

I didn't get a rental because they didn't have any ready. I was told asked to come back/I'd receive a call in about an hour. No call, returned to the store to find the door locked. Left for another 20 minutes to come back to the door still locked and about 5 other customers waiting. I decided to walk down to the Enterprise location down the street and was lucky to get a rental and was in and out in 10 minutes -- always a great experience with Enterprise. I tried giving a budget a chance and I won't be using them again.

Hit with huge fees at the end that were not communicated originally. We're disputing them now so we'll see how that gets resolved, but currently I'm dissatisfied with Budget Rental Cars.

Open and closing times are not as published. No way to get a hold of budget or the rental office at YHM to confirm the hours of operation. There is a key drop box, but I am highly sceptical of this as if you are close to drop off time how do you know you won't be over charged?
