SUV Rentals in London, Canada

When I picked up the car in London，the gas tank was not full. I noticed it on my way home in London. It cost me $ 17.63 to fill it up(12.08 liters). When I returned the car the next day in Toronto，I complained it in Avis counter and showed the two receipts for the gas. The guy said I have to talk to Avis in London. I was heading to China so I didn't have enough time to do it. I did call them . But nobody answered phone.

Great service, given choice of car within paid for range, small issue with tyre pressure was resolved promptly. As a foreign traveller we were apprehensive but no need to be, we would use Thrifty again for sure.

Having droppedthecar off on Christmas I realuzed no one would be present. Easy drop pff at Halifax airport.

There were a lot of blemishes on the vehicle....some large areas of missing paint..The steering wheel made a grating sound when turning...Car interior was clean with a very strong odor of a cleaning agent..Exterior of car needed a better wash..Vehicle did give good gas mileage and was less expensive than Enterprise Rent A Car. Found this to be a great Rental Location from dealing with Ravi (hope I got the name correct) on pickup, who handled the contract and walk around very smoothly and quickly. To Hami who made the drop off a first rate experience. I even received a phone call from the Manager checking on the ride. Would rent again without a doubt when in London, ON!

I dont see what the point of ordering online is. I chose a car, paid an extra buck to get the next higher model, only to get to the dealer to have them tell me, too bad, your getting the shittiest car on the lot, but I can upgrade for another $10. They keep insisting some kind of 'supply and demand' bs, but will we really see prices lower? Never. Its just another corporate scam under late capitalism.

What could of been better. They wanted to charge $50.00 more to add an additional driver for two days. We have rented in the past and have never been charged extra for the extra driver. Not sure I would rent again from Budget.

We needed a minivan and we got a minivan. It got us to and from our destination in one piece, and had the cargo space we needed. The staff at the agency were very pleasant. However, the van wasn't ready at the booked time - it had no fuel so I waited 15 minutes while they fuelled it. And when I got it, it was filthy. Clearly it hadn't been washed in weeks. The inside was worse - sticky steering wheel, stained seats, spills on the carpet and trim. If there were other vehicles on the lot, and if I had time, I would have asked for a different van. Mechanically it also needed attention - the brake discs needed replacement, and there was an engine squeal that got worse, but more amusing, as we got closer to home. I paid $200 for the day - unfortunately due to the Labour Day weekend, prices for rentals everywhere were jacked up to gouge anyone who wanted to rent any class of vehicle. Normally I use a different car rental agency, but I'm surprised a big player like Hertz would want their name on a dirty, worn-out van that's three model years old with 80,000 km on the clock.
