I showed up to pick up the car rental. I waited 45 minutes and called yet no one showed up or answered. I was forced to not only miss my appointment that I flew in for but I had to pay more money to rent a car through Avis. Needless to say hertz has lost my business. Hertz is the only company I use to use and now they are the only company I will not use. Please advise? Sincerely one pissed off customer, Aaron Kent

There was one lady serving at reception and also cleaning cars and weekends are busy. I had requested rental car from 5/18/23@12 noon to 5/20/23@2pm but was told if I brought car at 2 they will be closed and I would be charged up to Monday 5/22/23. So I brought car back @ 11.50 but the 2 extra hour which were charged per hour was not returned. It was like it’s a crime to book through third part instead of direct- are you sure kayak is permitted to book for Hertz!!
After booking they called changed the location for pickup then they called me the day of rental canceling and tire reservation saying they did not have a mid-sized car available. Will never go through budget again

Communication was awful. My pickup was at 12:00 but the rental place was closed at 12:04. Lines were long since I had to travel 1/2 hour extra to pick up at a different rental. The small signs were difficult to see when driving by yourself. If there is another alternative for transportation I am taking that.

They called and cancelled on us telling us they had no car for us, even though we reserved it through you and paid for it. We passed on reserving cars at the airport because we got a confirmation from kayak that we had a car through this agency. By the time they called to tell us they really didn’t have any cars and don’t like it when websites like yours keep reserving them, it was too late for us to get a car at the airport. They were all gone. We ended up having to spend the night in Cincinnati at our own expense and ended up renting a car through another company to be able to get home the next day.
The first car they gave me made a grinding sound when I pressed the brakes in the airport garage, but they changed it out for an upgraded car with no fuss.

I flew into the airport at midnight but they closed at 10 pm. Very frustrating. Had to Uber and $88 to get to my hotel. I will never use thrifty or dollar rent a car ever again.

This Colerain Ave. location had the most polite and cheerful staff I have ever come across at a rental agency. I would go back there just to say hi to them! Plus, I was in and out of there in about 4 minutes, not kidding.
I have been a loyal customer at this location and have rented vehicles for years here. However this is the last time I will rent from this location. The agent/manager/whatever was rude, condescending, and obnixous. He made it more than obvious he treats "certain" customers much better than others. I witnessed it first hand when I came to rent the vehicle. Then when I returned the vehicle he was literally fawning over the gentlemen in front of me and DID NOT treat me the same AT ALL when I was renting the car. Also the location was absolutely filthy. I will not return.

While I am still waiting on the return of my deposit through Avis, the pickup and drop off process through our Avis location was very easy and our vehicle was a clean hybrid minivan that was comfortable and an efficient ride for our whole group during our trip. Overall, this location made for a really good experience.

I received a confirmation about a Mustang convertible or similar. As I arrived (in time) there was no convertible available. We’ve called your customer service and nobody was able to help me. Instead of the Mustang A received a complete different car but and it was dirty.
