Our car was filthy, had a lot of blood stains all over, we felt so uncomfortable driving the car, if there are blood stains that means the car didn’t get cleaned. Our tires was bald and we didn’t feel safe driving. Seems like their cars are not maintained. It’s not safe to drive a car with tires that are very thin. Very disappointed with our rental, to think we’re in a different country and we want to make sure we feel safe.

The first car I received was unfortunately, difficult to drive because the transmission was subpar. I called the rental office and they immediately told me that they could give me a different car. The second car I received was much better and I had no problems with it during the month of rental.
Thrifty did not actually have any car’s available. The website incorrectly allowed a reservation to occur. There was no problem with the local staff, they were very kind.

We went to the rental company and they did not have a car to rent. They said kayak secured the reservation without checking to see if they had a car. The biggest problem is that I prepaid you for insurance that I am having problems getting refunded. Bad experience!

First the location. It wasn’t on the airport. No transportation provided by Triffty.ti other location So I picked up on the shatter. Was talk it will be a 10 more dollars per day. I agreed. I guess if they let me know i didn't really need extra insurance that would have been nice.
The price was good. The quality of the battery was poor (first car I got offered), the brakes were dangerous (car I received after turning the first car in the first day), the performance was mediocre (the third car I got after turning the second car in the second day). But, considering the price and the customer service Ingot I am most content.

I always use Alamo at the airport in Aruba. They have very competitive rates, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and both the pick-up and drop-off process is quick and painless.
Pick up took almost an hour. They only had on computer and it had to be serviced so they were down for a while. Unfortunately they didn’t have a back up. At return the one person working there was off getting some food.

The pick up was simple, right across the street from the arrival gate, same with the drop off very convenient, especially when it was my first time renting a car in Aruba.. I wanted to take the insurance because it was an out of the United States rental. Their website noted insurance was $105 however it ended up being $140 not a big deal but it was not accurate.

The rental was fine until I returned it. The car had sand in it. On Aruba. They charged $75 to my credit card to vacuum it out. I could have done it in 5 minutes, if I could have found a car vacuum on Aruba, and if I had known that they were going to pull this. Total scam. I am pretty sure that they pull this on everyone, figuring people can't do anything about it. I canceled payment with my credit card. Go with someone else.

It is unfortunate that the only way to pay hertz is by credit card….no debit card accepted. I understand and agreed with using a credit card for deposit, but to not have the option to use another form of payment such as cash or debit to pay remaining balance is somewhat discriminatory. So the message comes off that if you don’t have a credit card, you can not rent a car. 😞
Listed as "at the airport" but required finding someone to point out a van that took me to where the car was. Obviously had to do the reverse when leaving. Expectation was convenience by being at the airport, they're not. Vehicle was okay, scratches and some minor dings, a rattle when going over bumps, wipers that desperately needed replacement; it was transportation.

Tried to give us a car that the seats were discussing. Refused the car and they gave us another junk car. Car did not start one day and they had to come replace the battery. Will never use them again!!!

The staff were friendly and professional. Check in and check out were quick. The car was clean. Fees were transparent. The only catch was the car had trouble accelerating and appeared to be past it's service date, but the island is so small this wasn't much of an issue.
