7 passenger van rental in Orlando, Florida

I liked how easy the entire process is. They told me I don’t need to vacuum the vehicle or clean it at all. This allowed me to just focus on getting my family of five to the airport. I typically rent my vehicles from Turo but I’m now rethinking that choice.

Great car, great service. Lots of hidden fees that made it a bit more expensive then planned but ended up satisfied with our car during our stay.

The car I reserved was available and did not have any issues during the rental. Only thing that can be improved on is the call center. I had a question about picking up and what terminal to go to but I called 3 times and followed the prompts and couldn’t reach a real person.

Not good. Had to wait one hour in line to pickup the car. And they overcharged me by $200 for fuel even though I refilled the tank to full.

1.5 hours at the check-in counter (long lines) was unacceptable

Over all experience good and the process was seamless and without delay. Just one suggestion that Budget requires more staff at Airport as there are much more customer compared to the other service providers.

Did not have the right size car that I reserved. I had to rent an additional vehicle. Very unprofessional

My experience with Thrifty and Kayak was beyond disappointing. I booked a one way trip with a minivan from the Orlando airport as our family’s flight was canceled. After waiting in a long line, the agent (who refused to provide his name) told us that there were no more minivans available and that they only had four seat sedans. I reiterated that we booked a minivan because there were six members of our family. He said we could probably seat five in the sedan, but then became very rude and borderline hostile when I said that wouldn’t be possible because there were six of us. I asked if he could tell me the cost of a second vehicle and he said he couldn’t. Additionally, prior to arriving at the airport a family member had called both Kayak and Thrifty to confirm we’d be able to modify the drop off location from Boston to the Savannah airport and was told that was possible at the rental counter. When I asked the man at the rental counter he said that was not possible and that I had to modify this with Kayak. I, as well as family members tried calling Kayak multiple times from the counter and the calls were either dropped or we were told to use the website. When we went to the Kayak website to modify the drop off location, we all kept getting errors saying the reservation couldn’t be found. Needless to say, the experience was incredibly stressful, unfriendly, and inoperative for our family’s needs. I am still working on receiving a refund for the money I was charged for insuring the car I never rented. Our family spent nearly $1000 on an Uber to drive the 4 hours we needed the car rental for - a cost that should be reimbursed by Kayak. What an incredibly unacceptable experience trying to use Thrifty through Kayak - a family of six (including children) were left stranded with no options for a resolution.

I paid cash at every toll I came to, however I have just received a bill from you for $42.32, which I am not happy with.

Our experience was not good upon arriving at the airport we waited in line for an hour before getting to the counter only to be upsold by the counter guy. We received a clunker of a mini van that had to be returned halfway through our trip because the bottom was falling off and causing problem they did not come to us we had to come to the airport to exchange at which time they had over sold the cars and we waited over 2 hours to get a new vehicle leaving our daughter at the convention center alone. One employee literally would not help us because she was off at 2pm we finally got a manager who tried his best to make the situation right and turned it around. I have never seen so many unhappy people in my life it was pretty much a joke for thrifty and dollar. Will not use them in the future.
