The staff was excellent and thoughtful. I wish the location was closer to the airport as my original reservation was at a location much closer to the airport. My only complaint is that my original booking was quoted as a total of $436.92 USD and Driving force charged an upfront charge on my Chase account of $800 CAD ($595.33 USD) on 8/16/23 and I received an invoice via email on 8/28/23 for $665.46 CAD and a credit to my Chase account of $106.17 (USD). So the total USD I was charged was $489.16 or $52.24 ($71.25 CAD) more than my booking estimate. I faxed Driving Force about this on 8/28/23 and have heard nothing back.

My reservation was for a VW Jetta or similar, the car I received was a Chevy Spark. It would have been around a hundred dollars for a 2day upgrade. I am a tall man, I was not impressed to say the least.

The pickup counter was closed during regular hours. I sent my associates twice over 2 days and nobody was there. It made for a bad experience for the employee I sent. We rented a separate car and cancelled this booking.

The car should have had winter tires as we arrived in Kelowna when it was very snowy and slippery on the roads. We were told we did not need winter tires yet we would be responsible for anything that happened on the road even if as a result of the weather conditions. We definitely should have had winter tires.

My CAA membership was not accepted to add an extra driver at no cost. It is supposed to be a benefit of membership. It has been four days now and there has been no contact from Hertz with my final bill. They owe me a deposit refund.

The rental agency refused to honor the reservation price. My wife was offered a pickup truck at 60% premium to our original booking for a compact car. Only under the threat of cancellation did the provider magically "discover" a compact SUV that suddenly become available for a smaller premium. We elected to cancel anyhow and were met with a hostile response. Avoid Hertz in Kelowna!

I cannot think of anything that could be better. The company was true to it’s word. As a seldom user of car rentals I am always suspicious of their business ethics, (ie charging for damage to the car that I am not responsible for). I have experienced this in the past with two separate car rental companies. Bravo Hertz, easy pick up/drop off, reasonable rate and friendly staff.

Pickup was a breeze. Signage was difficult to follow when returning but we got it figured out eventually. Car had a terrible shake at Hwy speed. Hope they get it fixed. We notified them when we noticed and they felt it may be snow in the wheels. It was 10 deg C.
