Rear tire vibrates the whole time. Flat spot or out of balance. Terrible vibration at 80-90kph. Felt like I was delivering their car back to BC. Should have got a discount for that. Otherwise a good car.
Better to book through third party, when we called them directly first, they advised due to demand they weren’t booking one ways. Achieved one way when booking through third party. Thanks!!! Helped us in a pinch!!!

The car was great, but they claimed I had a full tank when it was only half full. I called to report that it only had a half tank, and had pictures to prove it, but they still charged me a refueling fee when I teturned the card with more fuel than I got it with.

The customer service agent changed my reservation at the counter leading to me having to pay extra for days I had originally booked and she charged me for insurance coverage and I agreed to that, however on my rental agreement it stated that I had declined the coverage. It was a big mess and I won’t be booking with them again.

The drop off was great! The pick up was terrible. The employee at the counter was complaining about Immigrants and liberals. First, he himself is an immigrant ( maybe from India?) who said HE came to Canada at college age ( somehow he is entitled) and now that he is in, he wants to pull the ladder for anyone else to come to Canada. I guess the fact that I am a blonde, fair skinned person made him think I am a racist. Completely turned me off. What a hypocrite. I guess the irony went over his head.

When we returned our rental car, the manager said the car had hail damage and we would have to pay. Five days earlier there was a hail storm in rural Alberta, which was no where near where we stayed in Sherwood Park. We took care of our rental like it was our own car. There was absolutely no hail in our area. Further, the manager insisted that during the time that we had the rental car, it hailed three times. This is a ridiculous scam and we refused to pay for any fabricated hail damage. We had a flight to catch and paid our rental bill. He said he will be processing a claim and we could refute it if we chose. We will not be paying a made up claim and we will NEVER rent an Alamo car again. Extremely Disgusted!

I had a BMW reserved for our family vacation and when we got there they had given the car away to someone else and we had to settle for a Toyota RAV4 which we found very uncomfortable. Their excuse was that they tried to call to see if we were coming and I didn't answer, I WAS ON A FLIGHT and couldn't answer.
The car i would like to rent but they gave me a similar one which is disappointing.
