Cons:Clean the vehicle- we found golf tees and smelly food wrappers in the trunk area and under a seat. There were two agents working the counter for 3 different companies, NO AIR and no less than 16 people waiting for their turn.
First off, it says that the car counter is in the terminal and it’s not. I was not expecting to have to shuttle to the car rental place. I felt like the advertisement was not truthful. Then I was given a car that did not have a full gas tank, but I did not notice until I had left the airport. But they did nothing about it. I was not pleased with the service of Payless.
The van hadn’t been cleaned and it took more than an hour to pick up. There was sand, and food, and wrappers everywhere and it smelled like a locker room.
The first car had a check engine light on and smelled like tobacco. We got a good replacement quickly which was great.
One very small complaint...I stood in line for about 30 minutes at pickup.
