Budget booked my pickup for 12pm but the store closed at 12pm. I arrived for my booking and no one was there. I went to the rental store at the airport, around 15 minutes away and was told that the same booking was around $200 dollars higher at that location. I rejected the offer and got on the internet and found a similar booking through budget for the same price as I was going to pay at the original pickup location. Then when I was checking out, the rep attempted to get me to sign paperwork that showed a rate around $200 higher than I was quoted on Kayak. I told him the paperwork was incorrect and he semi-sheepishly told me that he would get new paperwork that reflected the correct price. Then when we dropped the car off they lost the keys and told us we lost the keys even though the keys were straight away in plain sight in the car when we left it. Now I am going to be charged some exorbitant fee to replace the keys they lost. Never will rent from Budget or Avis again.
