They refused to present a car. My licence was not accepted. I don't understand why. Because my driving licence always accepted in whole Europe. I'm a traveller renting motorcycles and cars everywhere. But here they did not accept my driving licence. They decided that my licence is not international)). If my license is not international how other countries supply with motorcycles and cars.

The pickup took around an hour, including redoing virtually everything in my online purchase and signing all new contracts, after I believed I had already signed and paid for everything. Also I was told that the insurance I purchased from Kayak did not cover a bunch of things and that I needed a different credit card to secure a large deposit to cover potential damages not covered by that insurance.

Eventhough, it was a low season in Dubai, I have waisted more than 2 hours from the time I arrive to the Alamo office at airport untile I have received the car.. and it took me more than 30 minutes to drop-off the car.. It iwas unconvinced..

Alamo failed to clearly communicate that they do NOT have a pick-up/drop-off desk in Terminal 2! Although the reservation said that it was "Airport Pickup," and the fine print DID say they had desks in T1 and T3, it did not give sufficient heads up that T2 is very far from T1 and T3, and there is no airport shuttle, and no way to walk there from T2. This meant we had to walk around for 30-45 min figuring out what to do, and in the end, we had to book an airport taxi (with its expensive airport fee) BOTH for pick-up AND drop-off, which added to our expenses and even worse, added to our inconvenience and time. When I told the staff, they were very apologetic, but they were unable to help offer us a ride and did not take much responsibility at all.

The staff were amazing!!! I dealt with Momin and he was excellent. He gave me some tips about driving in Dubai and places to visit.

I didn’t like the fact that I had to thoroughly examine the car for even little scratches.

The Thrifty staff was very unhelpful and showed he had no intention to even guide me. The drop off procedure was also very complicated and when I asked for help, he simply told me he had otherwise customers to attend, bearing in mind that this was about 10-15 minutes from the closing time so very unlikely there will be customers picking up cars.

Hello, I have rented a car from them in December. Everything was fine with it. However, when we returned it we were told we have an outstanding fine of approx. 170 AED. We have disputed this fine on the fact that we didn’t find any paper on the car and most importantly, we were in Dubai on that day; so obviously it was an error from the system. The lady understood all that and she didn’t charge us. 3 days after we returned to the UK I was charge by Thrifty for that fine, a fine that we disputed already, a fine that we don’t even know if existed as no paper was shown to us…. It is just bad customer service…

Car was not ready on time, I had to wait to receive it, and the staff in the office did not bother to have it brought down until AFTER I was done with the paperwork. The car was relatively clean, but they used a cleaner that left residue on the navigation screen that I could not get off. The car had 1/4 tank of gas, but the paperwork said it was full. When I brought it back, they charged me for a tank of gas because I returned it as they delivered it to me. I won't rent from Enterprise at Dubai Terminal 3 again. Ever.

They refused to accept our creditcard as my official name is my maiden name however the credit ard name has both maiden name as my husband's name on there as is custom in our country. So we could t book at the end.

They did not have the car that was originally booked. But were gracious enough to upgrade me to a higher grade vehicle. Albeit that we felt that it was more expensive than it should have been. The people were very helpful and the vehicle was in excellent condition.

We ordered BMW car and pre payed. Upon arrival they told us that BMW is not available and offered us Alfa Romeo. Showed absolutelly no care for customer and no concern to fix an issue. I Cancelled order and went to enterprise in dubai marina inside Grosvenor house. Received super professional service there without any issues. Definitely not recommending this company to anyone. Futhermore still waiting from them for money return but I have a feeling that will need to dispute transaction with my bank.
