The Salvadoran mandatory private liability insurance of 14.99$/day needs to be shown in the booking price, our rental price more than doubled because of it!

They did no have the SUV as I indicated. I made the reservation months ago. When I went to the pick up center I had to wait ½ an hour. The car itself was ok. There were a lot of dents and scratches and the underside had something that was hanging off. It was being held by a piece of rope.

The car was very good. However the price was a trap because of the insurance scam. The rental company does not recognise prepaid insurance or credit card insurance. They only recognise their own compulsory insurance which effectively doubled the price of the car rental.. To be fair, their compulsory double pay insurance scam should be notified up front, not hidden.

Yes. But the charge way to much on place! The have hidden charges, I wasn’t happy about that! I paid a lot more than I expected.

Be prepared to be charged your credit card with $700 as a deposit even if you already bought an insurance here!

Made reservations online for a sedan and pick up at a certain time. When I got there (paid Uber), the man at the counter (Supervisor) said he did not have a vehicle for me. He may get one in the next 45 minutes. But, after that, he needed to perform maintenance on the vehicle and would take an extra 2 hours. I asked the guy if he was going to pay for Uber rides to and fro, he said he was not allowed to do that. I had to change all my reservations (hotel), cancel another hotel reservation because I didn't have a car to get there. Awful experience from Avis in San Salvador.
