Chrysler car rentals in Tampa

I like most the cleanliness of the car.

Terrible I did not receive the car due to unexpected reason related with my driven license. All other rental car companies offered me a car. In addition, three times I asked them if I will be charged, the answer was clear received from them: No sire , you cannot be charged. I was charged accordingly without any pre-notice. The worse services that I have ever received and I am a bossiness traveller from 16 years. Shame on them. My company will get in contact with them. I will not recommend at all this Fox company. No more comment. I am still negatively surprised of their atitude.

I had to wait over an hour for the only person working the rental desk at the hotel to show up. I kept calling and he said 10 more minutes and I will be there.

They took forever!!!! I have never booked with them because of the line I see everytime I get into LA but I just happened to land at 1am and thought it wouldn't be busy but we had to wait 2 hours for a car... ridiculous.

Reserved a certain vehicle and when I went there they didn't have any available and had to cancel my reservation.

TPA has a train from the car rental area to the terminal but Easirent is off property so you need to take a shuttle to/from the train stop. The check in was slow. Two people working for a crowded waiting area. The car needed a wash but more importantly it smelled like a mix of pee and smoke. It only had ~8k miles so it wasn’t old but it smelled. The price was right but I wouldn’t rent from them again.

Their support is non-existent. Just pay the little extra to go with a bigger brand and avoid this one.

Easirent was not at airport. It’s halfway across Austin. I abandoned the car pickup and got an UBER to our airBnB instead. When I went to pick up the car later on my second Uber I found it in an industrial park area, which wasn’t terribly concerning, but it had a couple red flags. Just not a place I would want to bring my family. Finally when I arrived the scene was utter chaos. I saw an employee walking around looking for a car clicking the key unlock to locate it while dozens of customers looked destitute and as frustrated as I was with the experience of not finding their car at the airport. As I walked inside I found a waiting area full of crying children and families waiting for cars and a line of the drivers about 8 deep with no one at the counter answering questions. It was then that the same employee from the parking lot walked back in and stepped behind the desk to continue what sounded like a frustrated conversation of a desperate customer to just take the quickest option to get a car and leave. After trying to ask the sole employee what the odds of getting my car in the next hour or two was I decided that I wasn’t prepared to do business with this company and ordered my return Uber to the airBnB and ordered a Turo car for the rest of our visit with a brilliant experience. Hugely disappointing overall. Would not recommend. Please avoid. I haven’t chased down the couple hundred of dollars that we lost on the reservation and not getting a car yet, but I’m not holding my breath.

Kayak confirmation number didn’t match Alamo confirmation number, never got an email from Alamo confirming the reservation. Had to call their customer support to get that information, and had to re-enter my email address to get a confirmation via email. At Alamo, I chose the Skip the Counter option and expected to be able to pick up my rental by going straight to the car and to the exit booth. I was told by the kiosk personnel that we were good to do this, and once at the exit booth was told we needed a number that the counter or kiosk worker would provide. They proceeded to complete the pickup and rental agreement and ended up giving me a rental agreement for National Car Rentals for a person and car other than myself and the car I rented. Alamo contacted me via text and phone the following day asking if I picked up a car. I had to text them the VIN to complete the rental agreement. Overall, a big mess up on the part of Alamo.

Amazing last minute rental when flight was canceled. Highly recommend!

Car had some issues that I brought to their attention. Otherwise would have been great.

They did not have any cars available to rent.

This location has the best staff. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable. What more do you want?

Don't list cars that aren't available and send an email in advance to not travel there just to realize that there is no car available.

Car was dirty and there was roaches on it, really disappointing, not to mention they didn't have the car when I arrived

Apart from the rental office being a few blocks from the Tampa airport, we could not have asked for a better experience. Great vehicle, great service, great price.

The next bus shuttle was in an accident with us in it on the way to the rental company and they were not apologetic for us having been in there accident. Then the rental car was very very damaged. They also required a $1468. Insurance premium on top of the rental fee even though what my credit card insurance would cover it. This fee was not disclosed at time of booking.

Major issue is the Thrifty name is nowhere on the building. It was located inside a Hertz car rental. The address on the building was hard to read. Took over an hour to pick up my reservation. Drop off was just as bad. Seemed to be under staffed. Twice they tried to rent cars to people that needed repairs taking more time. During drop off they interrupted my transaction to send employee to pick up more cars. I tried to extend rental 1 more day and that day would have been over twice what my rental was per day.

The problem itself is not with the car rental company, but with the Kayak. I made the first reservation, however, with the wrong time, so the car rental company suggested that I make another reservation, which I did. I picked up a car and they charged me for 2. I'm waiting for a response to this.

There were literally hundreds of people in line because other rental car companies were out of cars. Thrifty agents were pleasant despite the crush of people, and a difficult situation went well. Amazing.
