There was a much longer than expected wait to pickup the car at 0900. Our needs were specific, we needed a van that we could take one way. This is the only reason we booked with Avis as we typically use a different rental provider. The van was beyond dirty, both inside and out when we received it. Normally the cars are washed on the outside and vacuumed on the inside. Neither of these things happened for our rental. Considering the long wait to be assisted and the need for that specific vehicle, we felt stuck.

The woman at the Avis desk at the Burbank airport was rude, unpleasant and started our trip off on a really bad note. We liked the car we drove and it was an easy pick up and drop off

Third in line and over an hour and ten minutes to pick up the car. Returned the car and 3 days later received a text the car had not been returned. I brought the car back and hour early and handed the key to the Budget counter representative!

Easy drop off but for pickup you have few staff available in the counters. Still I haven’t received my security deposit back.

You could put more people to help on the counter, when there was a long line waiting. Didn’t like how dirty was the car inside. The windows and mirrors on the outside were wet to the point that was hard to exit the lot .

1. When picking up, we initially had to go down to the parking garage area because no one was at the indoor rental counter, but an associate came and asked us to come back to the indoor counter after we had waited in line for a minute. The check out process wasn't too long, maybe 15 minutes in total, but it could have been more smooth. 2. Small nit, but we are not frequent electric vehicle drivers and don't really know much about charging them. It might have been nice to have the person at the desk give us a few suggestions about where to find chargers (usually available at a hotel, do / don't go to Tesla supercharger stations) and what cable is needed. We kind of just assumed we'd be able to figure it out when we left. 3. Leaving the shared rental lot itself was very slow. There was actually only one car in front of us, but they took I would guess 5+ minutes to deal with them. There was only one attendant on duty though, so we had to wait. 4. This may be an issue with Google Map directions, but it directed us on the 2 lane road shared with cars picking up and dropping off travelers. That road was backed up. If we could have approached the drop off from a different direction, it would have saved us ~5 minutes, I think.

Car was fine, clean, everything as expected. Pick up was way too long- waited an hour in line. Thank goodness our car was ready, but there were multiple people sitting and waiting for their car to be ready (after waiting in line for 45-50 min)!

We had a very new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder that served our needs exceptionally well. Very comfortable.

They need to be more specific on the terms and conditions of rental

I booked. Went to get my car and they had no cars.

After getting confirmation the day before, Hertz says my prepaid rent a car was cancelled. Had to pay

I made the reservation and when I got there, they told me they could not honor it. Really sucks.

We forgot something valuable in the car and we’re given the runaround to get it back. We were told they didn’t find it and were even questioned that we may have left it elsewhere - by the manager of all people - only suddenly item appeared when we demanded to see video footage. Be your own advocate!

A) i needed it in LAX B) car had been previously wrecked and repaired wrong so the dashboard would indicate many errors at night time (regarding several safety sensors) It only happened at night. Not visible damages As a result ouldnt drive it at night
