The Westin Palace, Madrid

LikedLocation is really prime. Breakfast was good. Gym was ok but could be better.

DislikedNothing was special. At this daily rate you should expect greatness.

LikedThe location and having washing bedsheets

DislikedThe cleaning especially the bath room. I added empty shopping bag in the bathroom because the basket (trash ) was small the cleaner removed the trash and take it out without retuning it and saw the shopping bag in the bathroom and did not bother to throw it it was full of garbage I called them and I explained to them. They brought the trash the second day the same they empty the trash and left the shopping bag in the room full of garbage The staff was not friendly when we checked in the receptionist gave us very far room from the elevator we had to change it although she noticed that we are not young the hotel is under construction their is noise

LikedLocation is perfect. Close to main museums and cultural sites.

DislikedThe hotel was going through a major renovation during the time of our stay. It would be nice to know this ahead of time. Hotel website or any reservations website did not mention this at all.

LikedAfter arriving late evening due to traffic delays we were greeted by friendly staff keen to help, the checking in was very smooth, our car was parking by the staff & the hotel had a nice warm friendly feel.

DislikedOur stay was not long enough!

LikedIon was sick for a few days and room service was wonderful!
