Access to a communal terrace, the staff were excellent and responsive and respectful, breakfast food was very good and the bar is fun.
The rooms are too small and cramped, the overall decore is very dark and not meant for daytime use. The room i was allocated didnt jave space to lay down my suitcase to open it .. let alone two suitcases for a couple. It's a beautiful hotel in a good location. It has unique design and features. The staff were friendly. They offer a complimentary drink in the bar and the rooms have a well stocked mini bar.
Unfortunately, the soundproofing for the rooms is not very good. This was especially a problem at night in the Terrace room where you could hear the music in the bar to the early hours of the morning. I'm assuming this is only a weekend but something to keep in mind when booking

Great hotel in central location - all staff encounter were superb . Rooms very comfortable & well maintained. The hotel was spotless
What I did not like on checking out was being told there was a “service charge “ payable for all rooms on top of the agreed price paid in advance . £32 charged as this additional charge. This isn’t mentioned on Booking.com nor was it mentioned when checking in. I find this extremely underhand & sneaky
