Staff is very friendly, rooms are quite nice. The hotel is not that big and located at a nice spot. It has two restaurants/bars: one of the hotel itself and another one that I believe rents their floor. It's a quiet place: most of the noise comes from cleaning the streets and suppliers in the morning. There is a popular bakery next door. Largo Sta. Luzia - one of the most popular spots for picture...
The one thing that continues to strike me in PT - and I have been in Lisbon many times for work as well, next to leisure - is the paperwork. The city tax needs to paid in cash, you don't get an invoice. If you ask for the invoice, it takes quite some time and the one we got was incorrect and unclear. But all in all a nice and friendly place.Read more
We booked room through 2 floors, room nr 3. It was really spectacular. Very nice living room on first floor, bedroom on second floor with nice bathroom. And magnificent view from livingroom window over the city. Free apples, kiwi and coffee in the room. Good conditioned rooms. Also very friendly personnell! Very helpful. Restaurant terrace has extraordinary view. Be aware that most of time can not...Read more
The views were amazing, the location was perfect, and the staff were really helpful. Francois and Janan gave incredible customer service, and the whole staff team were helpful. :)
Nothing
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff (in particular Rio and Francois) couldn’t have been more attentive and obliging. Every request was met with a warm smile and a can-do attitude, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The level of service was no...Read more
The attentive and thoughtful service from the staff here was probably the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. It's a lovely and well maintained property. The location was perfect for our two days in Lisbon -- it gave us lots of opportunities to explore Alfama, while still having easy access to Baixa/Chiado. We enjoyed breakfasts on the terrace with the view of the river, and also a spectacula...Read more
Staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean and bed is very comfortable. Weather was so hot and aircon in room was very effective. Location right near the lift to central part of town was perfect and terrific bakery and coffee right next door!
Room is a little small. Nowhere to sit and relax. But honestly it was a terrific stay. Would definitely stay here again.
The open breakfast patio is overlooking one of the most spectacular views of Lisbon, the Tagus River, the 25 de Abril Bridge, the Cristo Rei, and so many other famous monuments. The breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Our room, the duplex, had a living area and a loft suite, all with panoramic views of the city and overlooking the historic Alfama area. Staying in lux...
Nothing! Even for us the steps were very doable. Imagine stepping into the medieval ages with cobblestones, tile, and granite walls and a historic castle right outside your front step.Read more
Very kind, friendly and helpful staff; beautiful and spacious room; gorgeous view
Perfect location, Francois, Rio and rest of the staff are super friendly and helpful
Door lock is old and outdated. Need to remember to always take the key with you and not forget it in the room or even worse, inside the lock. It happened to me several times but Francois and Rio were always there to help and the problem was solved. Consider replacing door lock with code or card
Great hotel in a fantastic location near the castle in central Lisbon. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Great river views from the terrace where breakfast is taken, and from our room. Good breakfast and hotel also has a restaurant on the terrace for other meals if desired (we used it twice). We would certainly stay there again.
Nothing to note
