Location. Staff were great.
I liked everything.
The location was perfect and the staff were nice
I stayed twice in 2 weeks. First the 1 person beds were too close. They were less than 20cm apart and there were nightstands attached to the walls prevent them from being moved further apart. The second one was just two beds pushed together(the 20cm gap was closed) but they were not attached.
We stay at the Scandic Malmen a lot as our son and family live near by . We have tried other hotels in the area but find the Scandic the best for location , The Rooms are normally good , and very clean , We normally ask for a room near the lift as I cannot walk far without a walking stick. The Breakfast is allways good with plenty of choice . Yes we will be staying again !!
This is the first time I have had to complain . We had a room on the far side of the hotel after about 3 days we returned in the evening opened the door and there was a bad smell that seemed to be coming out of the air condition unit . I went down to the front desk and asked a member of staff if somebody could come and check it out , A guy did turn up he also thought it was coming from the aircond...Read more

Close to public transport, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Small room, overpriced, noisy area.
Breakfast buffet was more than expected. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.
We rented 2 rooms and our second room 2237 was much smaller than our other room 2236(tight for 2 adults with suitcases), stuffy and we could hear the subway. I was rather disappointed. I also got locked in the second breakfast hall and was lucky a construction worker walked through as I could not be heard knocking to get out.

Rooms way too small
We are regular visitors to Sodermalm as our Son and family live there . We find the Scandic the best hotel in the area .
Nothing it was good as normal .
The breakfast was fantastic best I have ever encountered in 40 years of travel
Our room was on top floor very noisy from wind/some flapping on roof
