Nice small boutique hotel, nothing fancy. But location is amazing walking distance to grand bazzar, blue mosque and sea.. That is why I chose this for me and my sister.

Pros (+) We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Amira. The location is perfect for exploring Istanbul, with so many of the main sights within easy walking distance. The staff were absolutely wonderful throughout – genuinely friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Breakfast was excellent, with a lovely choice each morning, and the freshly made flatbreads were a particular highlight! The rooftop terrace a...
Cons (-) The only slight disappointment was that the rooms felt a little tired in places and could benefit from some updating and more consistent attention to detail. Pros (+) Great balcony with a view of the sea. Very quiet at night despite the busy location. Lovely comfortable bed and a nice big bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. Pros (+) The location meant everything was walkable and also enabled easy access out of the old town to get to airport/ elsewhere rather than getting caught up in traffic congestion. Staff were always available and attentive. Taxi stand was outside the front door. Breakfast was great. Rooftop was unavailable due to the rain which was a shame as the facilities/view up there looked excellent.
Cons (-) We had to keep balcony door closed due to rain and room did get quite hot. Didn’t find the air conditioning to be effective but it may have been user error!
