LikedGood location

DislikedAlmost all the bathrooms were out of order and the ones that were working didn’t have toilet paper sometimes. The beds were dusty and the pillows uncomfortable. The showers were not very practical in terms of having somewhere to put your things and keep them dry while showering.

DislikedThe room was small and definitely not for 4 people. Toilets/Bathrooms weren't cleaned enough, cold water in the shower, toilets locks were broken. Not worth the price.

LikedThe location was good.

DislikedThe rooms were incredibly small. The 4 bed mixed room was so small that I couldn’t open my small carry on luggage on the floor without it preventing the room door from opening. The shower situations didn’t really make sense to me. There was no adjoining space to change or put your clothes while you showered. There are no benches, shelving, anything. I was forced to put my clean clothes on the ground while I showered. The doors to the rooms are very noisy and the bunkers squeak very loudly too, guaranteeing you’ll wake up if anyone moves throughout the night or if someone enters the room at a late hour. The front desk staff was generally cold and didn’t seem to want to help. Charges for a towel are ridiculous from any type of lodgment. £7 per towel I believe the price was. There’s also no outdoor space to sit at a table and enjoy a meal, it’s either directly in front of the bar or that’s it. The only outdoor space is the smoking area. The key reader to do self check in wasn’t working when I first arrived. The vending machines also weren’t working with contactless payment. They also don’t take AMEX. The general vibe is very young and childish. There are very few adults/backpackers here.

LikedThe only good thing is the location. It's a 10-minute walk from King's Cross Station. Other than that, it's average to poor.

Disliked1. The bathrooms are extremely dirty. There are no bathrooms on the 6th floor, and there is no water on the 4th and 5th floors. That is, if you are staying on the 5th or 6th floors, you will find very dirty bathrooms, non-functioning bathroom locks, and showers that do not work. 2. The staff is not friendly. 3. The rooms are standard. I stayed at the Generator in Venice and it was much better; this one was a disappointment.
