When I showed up to get the car I booked, they had rented them all out, and just told me I was out of luck. Worst customer service experience I've had in a very long time.

Instead of a Mazda 6, we got a Nissan altima which is fine as they say they don't guarantee make and model, but the trunk wouldn't stay locked and the driver's seat adjustment lever was broken off. The younger guy I talked to was awesome, should've got his name. An older guy there was trying to be homophobic against two married women that were renting and trying to charge extra for a 2nd driver despite their policy being not having to pay for a spouse as a second driver. Freshly washed and cleaned car for as cheap as I could find so I was still grateful for them providing the service. Not terrible but maybe I'm just not used to renting a car in downtown Portland.

I was charged $11/ per day for additional collision coverage option I chose with PriceLine, but the Dollar rental had no information on that and was asked if I need additional collision coverage. Looks like either Dollar want double bill me on this or PriceLine failed to coordinate this part with Dollar.

I would advise against this company. They're not concerned with customers' safety and tried to charge me $400 to drop off at airport because the location downtown IS NOT SAFE! First I was quoted $150 to change drop off, then she could give me discount of $100, then another employee tried to charge me $400! These people are dishonest, unethical and clearly not concerned with the safety of their patrons. I will never rent from this company again. Never.

The enterprise location that was offered to me was not even open by the time I landed on my flight. 2 pm. I tried calling right before 2 and after, no one answered. There were no directions or information regarding previously scheduled rentals. Luckily, the Enterprise team at Portland Airport helped me get a last-minute car. Not impressed at all with this service. Thank goodness I didn't have to pay.

Our flight was delayed so we got there one and a half hour after our scheduled pickup time. We waited 20 minutes for them to "clean and sanitize" only to get in it and it was gross. Seats had powder on thim, smelled like cigarettes, food on radio controls, tobacco leaves near the shifter, and overall dirty. We will never rent from this location ever again.

I have never in my life had such an awful experience. How I was treated and spoken to by the staff girl was unreal after just not having my car for no reason. Will never rent with them again!

The line to pick up the car took about an hour & a half. The car smelled of cigarettes, had not been washed with bugs on the windshield, had crackers on the floor, dirt & dust on the dashboard and dry mud on the back of the front passenger seat. Clearly the car wasn’t serviced - we would have gone back to the counter but it was still a mob scene. Truly the worst rental car experience ever!

They were absolutely terrible . The Avis at the airport sent me downtown which I had to pay for just for the store downtown to tell me they did not have the vehicle that the airport did. Then then said they had another vehicle I could use. Then they told me they could not rent to me unless I had a major credit card even though I had made my reset two months prior. I was stuck at the airport with 8 month triplets for four hours until I could rent from somewhere else

The first rental car they gave me died in the middle of traffic. The experience of a tow truck arriving, driving an hour back to the rental location despite closer locations nearby, and getting a new rental car was horrible. The new rental car also had malfunctions. I am in the process of getting a refund. Their customer service needs much improvement, and they aren't returning my phone calls despite giving my name and number for a call back.

Price was very good. Car was a good car for my time in the area. Car was very dirty and had scratches on the right door. I took a photo on my phone, and wrote down on the form regarding scratches, and was told I could drop it off before or after renting the car. I went to do it before I left, and the line was so long that people were pushed back outside the very small office in which 15 people were now ahead of me. Decided to drop it off when I returned the car, which I did.

Bad survey. Pickup was not good, drop off was great! Why do you glom them together? The person who I worked with at pickup did not know her job well. I did not receive any information on returning the car or other offers of information. Drop off was great. Rusty and Mike in the garage were so nice and so helpful! They were both wonderful!

Everything went well until they billed me for more than I signed off on. I signed for 220 and got billed for 308. I did not do anything that would have changed the original price I signed for. I’ve been on hold to speak with a representative for 18 minutes now and still waiting. This was my first time using Budget and I certainly won’t go through them again.

This place was a nightmare. I rented a CX-5 or similar compact SUV. When I showed up to pick it up, i had to wait 15 min while the lady at the counter took a personal call. Then she told me all they had was a suburban for me but she couldn’t find the keys. The guy with the keys was Mia, and his walkie talkie and phone were apparently at the counter After waiting a very long time, the girl at the counter finally told me to walk to the parking garage to meet the guy with the keys. When I got to the car, he was still cleaning it. He stopped cleaning, handed me the keys, told me not to worry about the warning lights or the broken visor, and then disappeared before I could ask any questions. I got in the car and realized it only had half a tank- not a big deal but they just handed me a half-full gas guzzling machine for my 6 hr drive to the pre-identified drop off destination. I had to get gas twice which was not Part of the budget. I dropped the car off the next day, 2 hrs early, with more than half a tank of gas left, was ushered out quickly and told I was good to go. Now I see I’ve been charged more than 2.5x the amount I agreed to pay and I have NO idea why. I would absolutely not recommend this place.
