Car rentals in Guam

did not like anything one bit! I booked a car for a Guam trip, and Budget for some wild unknown reason books a minivan in Saipan for me. So I arrive in Guam and have no car because actual car rental is in Saipan. Unreal!

Absolutely horrible. I reserved a car on Guam for a minimum of 7 days, received a confirmation number, went to Budget’s website to confirm the reservation and received a positive confirmation. Upon arrival in Guam I went to the counter to pick up the car and was informed that there was no car reserved. I asked them to check again, they did and found that the car had been reserved but on a neighboring island over 90 miles away. They informed me that there was nothing they could do and that they were out of cars and that this was a common issue with their system. Anyways, I asked them to please check for a car availability again, they did and informed me that they had a single car available - a BMW at a cost of 4x more p/day than the car which I had a confirmed reservation. I asked if they could match the original reservation’s cost was or minimally reduce the BMW’s daily cost, again I received a non customer response and was told “NO.” Anyways, I’ve been on Guam for over 9 days with no car because of Budget’s mistake and horrible customer service, I will NEVER rent from them again and will NEVER recommend them. They’re the WORST in the car rental space.

This is pretty much a combo of Kayak and budget. They were sold put of cars, but kayak scheduled a pickup on the nearby island of Saipan?! Haha! I had to walk to my hotel in the rain 🤨

The staff were professional and efficient and customer service oriented. The car itself smelled like stale cigarettes and had a suspect engine.

payment arrangement very accommodating when taking cash. Not everyone takes credit cards

The staffs were so nice and friendly. They explained fully so that I could understand how to drive. They also install a baby seat which made me much easier to begin my journey. It was also easy to return the car. I surely recommend this company.

The drop off was super simple; other than directions into the lot.

One clerk at the counter to check in many people. Long Que. waste of time. My reservation was for intermediate SUV I was given a Mitsubishi Mirage with no window tint. Photo implied a bigger vehicle. I didn’t say anything as I had already walked out to the car and wasn’t going back to wait in the long Que with only one clerk. Didn’t drive it that much it was okay in the end. Will look for other company next time.

Doesn’t have enough cars to fully rent out and will leave you screwed at the airport without a car. Reservations mean nothing but a suggestion

Made a reservation and the agency cancelled at the last minute saying no cars were available. Taking the reservation and then cancelling after I started my flight to Guam put me and my family in a difficult position. Would ask the agency correctly advertise availability and not take reservations if they can’t provide.
