The most disgusting people work there, they refused to give me my car, because I was 45 minutes early, unless I pay 40 euro extra, needless to say, I went to Avis, service was a pleasure, I would never go back to europecar again!!
Did not have the car type that I booked. I had to go to the returns area to pick it up (extra time). They did not bother to inspect the car beforehand but meticulously inspected it after. Constantly looking for ways to charge me more - insurance, automatic upsells and, finally, charging for a wheel scratch that was already present.
When a traveler's flight is coming late you have to make sure that you can stay later so that you have time to have the customer check the car to make sure that there is no damage to it and also that the gas tank is full. This did not happen to me and the next morning when I saw that there was only half a thank of gas I was wondering what would happen when it came time to fill it up. I didn't know that the Esso station had a deal with rental company that all you had to put in was $50.00 for gas making it a little easier to fill also, you should tell your customer to use that Esso station to fill. The reason that you might have miss to tell me is that you were in a hurry to close because we didn't get there till 9:50 or so. Your shuttle driver was great and very friendly and waited for us even though it was pass his regular time. I would use your company again but would make sure that the points I mentioned would be followed. The big issue is to make sure that your customer can check your vehicle for any damage(s) and that the gas tank is full and that they are told were they should go to fill in the car when returning it.
Car was amazing however I had no idea that the deal I had, had restrictions as to the amount of kilometres travelled per day. This was not pointed out to me at pickup so consequently I travelled over double the included is and was penalised heavily. I will not use Kayak or Europcar again.
