The vehicle we rented had previous damage that was not told to me until I inspected the vet. The vehicle was not clean, very poor service….

Our first rental car was infested with ants. We went to return it, were accused of putting the ants in the trunk even though we only had the car for all of 2 hrs and literally drove straight to a vacation rental. Ants were all over our 2 year old’s car seat/car seat bag, the center console and completely covering the trunk thus the ants were on our suitcases. We returned the car, had to call Budget corporate to have the day refunded. The front desk staff was difficult to deal with and not extremely understanding about what a mess this was and how time consuming it was for us having to go back to return the car, get a new one and clean all the ants on our stuff.

The drop off location was very close to our hotel but closed so we had to drive it 30 minutes away..

The Kia Soul that we rented smelled so bad when the air conditioning was turned on that we had to buy an air fresher to tolerate the smell. We also discovered the car was leaking oil and the level was so low that we had to purchase a quart and add it to the car.
